Where I'd disagree is treating every repeated request as coercion. Context matters. Someone can genuinely change their mind later without being pressured. The key question isn't how many times someone asked. It's whether the final "yes" was freely given or the result of pressure. Saying "if she doesn't come back and ask, then you just never have sex" also ignores that people often change their minds during the course of a relationship without formally reinitiating later. The issue isn't who init…

It would be nice if women approached more. Men would feel wanted, face less pressure, and deal with less rejection. The problem is that it isn't likely to benefit most men anytime soon because social norms don't change overnight. Women have been encouraged to make the first move for years, yet most still don't approach very often, and when they do, it's usually the men they already find exceptionally attractive. Until that changes on a large scale, waiting to be approached isn't a realistic stra…

If it's a genuine dealbreaker, just end things respectfully. Don't ghost him or make his size the focus. A simple "I don't think we're sexually compatible" is enough. Everyone is allowed to have preferences, but everyone also deserves honesty and respect.

Of course. Especially if she is attractive for her age.

If everything requires a transaction, it's not really a relationship anymore. It's two people running a business together. Relationships naturally involve give and take, but once affection, intimacy, and basic companionship have price tags attached to them, you've replaced mutual desire with negotiation. At that point you're not building a partnership, you're managing a contract.

There is truth to this. A lot of women give dating advice from the position of being selected, not from the position of having to pursue. That is why advice like “just be yourself” or “it happens when you stop looking” often works better for women than for average men. Most men cannot afford to be passive because nothing usually happens unless they initiate, improve, take risks, and learn from rejection. Women can still explain what turns them off, but when it comes to how men actually create at…

That argument dodges what peak usually means. Peak is not about who feels more mature or healed at 32. It is about dating market demand, options, and leverage. In that sense, women usually do peak younger. Younger women still get more attention, more approaches, and more offers from a wider range of men. Maturity can improve with age, sure, but that does not mean dating value rises the same way. Personal growth and market value are not the same thing.

Did you explain it earlier or something. Im trying to figure out what was explained

This sounds deep until you realize it is just defeatism dressed up as insight. Yes, some men are genuinely desired, some are mostly valued for utility, and some get rejected hard. That part is real. But acting like all women sort men into only three boxes is just lazy oversimplification. Women are not a hive mind, and male appeal is not as fixed as you are pretending.

Yeah, pretty much, especially if the man barely got the woman in the first place. Putting in the work long term will be expected to keep her interested.

Neither sex should get that label unless its earned.

Facts, if she is worth the effort she will get the effort. No need in giving that to just anyone.

I've been reading this funny exchange I dont see where you ever said that. Maybe she put you in with the others you spoke of. Definitely messed up to do that while also trying to claim how women are victims.

Yes if they have a low sex drive.

Naw it exists but people dont typically debate about this stuff in person. If it was more of a normal thing to do, im sure we would see it more often.

Yeah they would have no choice, since there wouldn't be enough options to fulfill their needs. So they would be in the same position as most men in that regard. Now of course they still get men approaching, so they atleast still have that nice advantage.

Yeah women say that because they are angry about men preferring younger chicks.

No its mostly older women that do. Then like you said they will go younger themselves, yet have the nerve to complain about men doing so.

Definitely is, id want to be both if anything, but if I could only get one, it would have to be the hookup guy. Since husband material by itself is basically used as a diss nowadays.

Well society doesnt require them to so, so they take full advantage of that, which should be expected. Since they can get away with it.

Definitely doesnt but of course you know we cant blame women for anything, without it being a problem.

I believe men in general are failing in this area, so blaming pill community's for it, doesnt make much sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 08:47 PM

The blame has to mostly go on who is raising them. Which in a lot of cases has been single moms, especially over the past couple of decades.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/26 01:40 AM

Nothing wrong with that at all. Some men are really into sex and having relationships, so doing what he can to make that happen makes a lot of sense. People that are against that will take issue to that. Which is fine but should have no impact on those that view things differently.

Yeah I can see if maybe he lied to her and backed out of an agreement. (Which should be in written form) Then id actually agree with her. If she didnt give him a choice; then id say that is pretty unfair to him.

No it is women that have that issue more then men. Society mostly shames men, feminism is strong currently. So it is viewed as misogynistic for men to do that. Women get away with quite a bit before they are considered misandrist

I think men mostly are, since they can have a libido that drives them to care more. Since its usually higher then womens. So they can easily feel the urge of wanting relationships or casual sex more then women can.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 09:03 AM

No women actually dont. There are several preferences that men have currently, that are shamed by women. So this isn't true currently.

Well they can detect certain things but it will only be the obvious stuff. Like how a person dresses and outwardly acts will make it much easier to judge. Doesn't mean they can detect things that are hidden, especially if its well hidden. So a womans initiation does get overstated for sure.

They usually acknowledge the reasons as to why they dont really want to. The reasons usually are the same ones men can relate to but have to do anyways. So cant really back out of doing it unless they are a top-tier man.

Society pushes the narrative that women are the ones that do so. Regardless of how true a position is, people will believe it over time, if its pushed enough. So this idea has been pushed as truth even though it isn't really the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 06:43 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
