I think it is just the men got a head start. Women were only able to vote how recently? It wasn't until WW2 that women entered factories. Education, etc. Men in general have had a head start, so to see them at the top makes sense. Seeing as just about every president or powerful CEO had powerful parents, we need the minorities to work their way up. Large companies do sponsor these events, but who shows up is not limited to only the sponsors, anyone can go for free. I can understand the need for a company to fire based on photos if the tags or the people were known, or somehow the companies were indicated. You might have read my comment wrong. I am reply to the idea that the men who were by-standers (not the rapists) should be found guilty. There was no call to find the women by-standers guilty, only the men. The men, according to the topic, should have stepped in and stopped it. I find it ironic I have never been banned from feminisms yet I have been banned from feminism 5 times. I put forth the same arguments in both, follow the rules, but feminism seems to ban more often.

I love the people who have no idea what went on. You can tell because they list things like, "How can you fire someone for reporting sexual harassment" Which shows they didn't realize that 1) they were talking amonst themselves, not to her, at her, or involving her. and 2) what they said while sexual in nature, was comments on sex parts that they own.

The victim wasn't there. She was outside the courtroom along with the mother. So it makes it difficult when reporting in the courtroom, seeing the emotion, and no victim, to simply not mention the victim. BTW, the mother accepted their apology, forgives them, and think the punishment is right. The victim is happy as well, saying she preferred they didn't even get jail time. The only people pissed feminists that wanted a 16 year old to be life in jail.

you are missing the point of the article then. The article is claiming that the boys and men that were not rapists should have stopped the rapist. I agree that the rapists caused the rape, but that isn't what the article is saying, it is saying those that didn't rape should have prevented it, stepped in and been a protector.
