From my experience, no amount of "preaching" or trying to "convince" my friends that they weren't on the right path did any good. It only poured more oil on the flames and led to very defensive and aggressive reactions. The best lesson is life itself. It's a pity, but your friends will only "get it" once they get burned and hit the wall on their own.

Been monk since 2015. I wouldn't say I am actively "pursuing" it, it kind of happened by itself. The most important step I made on my journey was to work hard in order to buy a bachelor pad, without which monk mode wouldn't have been possible. As per the topics you mention, here are two cents: - Killing urges - that's one I struggle with, especially with covid and being forced to stay at home. Exercising a lot and staying busy is what works the best though. - Dealing with loneliness - my family …

Can totally relate. I've cut off a lot of guy friends from my life who I don't share anything in common with anymore and who drag me down. It's a tricky thing to do though, especially with guys I've known for a long time and who used to be my "bros". I've found that if I cut contact "abruptly" - i.e. by ghosting or not giving any news - it makes people come back to you even more! Like there's this friend group I used to be friends with and when I stopped giving news to them, they started chasing…

Great post man. Agree with pretty much everything. Women are only one part of the MGTOW mindset.

It's funny you say that because as it turns out, I actually have a dog who's raised 90% of the time by a single mom, and I am witnessing that puppy-like soy-boy behaviour in him. He could have become a wolf, but lacking appropriate male education and initiation, he basically got "stuck in puppyland" and never really grew into an adult dog. Don't get me wrong, I still love the fucker more than anything and he's still got some game in him, I just feel like he's lacking maybe 60% of what he could h…

100% agree with you. What Incels and MGTOW1 don't get is that it's the MEN who are to blame, not the women. I actually don't have any ill-will towards women. I pity them for not having any man to withstand their shit tests and make them have a good time. As the quote goes: “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.”

100% agree. Most people settle down not by choice but because society and their own insecurities force them to

- Maybe, just by your presence, you serve as a reminder that there is a different way of life that they could've chosen. In order to be happy with our choices, sometimes people denigrate the alternative choice. We can see that in MGTOW communities sometimes, in the way they talk about marriage being a pit of misery (which it is sometimes, but on average, married people are about as happy as single people). Maybe the reverse is going on here: married people trying to convince themselves that the …

I am training to become a male therapist and have been seeing one for a couple of years now. It helps tremendously IMO, but do your research before you go see one. Once you get stuck with a bad therapist, it can drag on for months before you realize the other person is incompetent and the longer things last, the harder it is to quit with that person.

I am in a similar situation. I am 32yo and have gone MGTOW for about 4 years now. Most of my school "friends" turned out to be massive simps and backstabbers, but (thankfully) I have a few good bros left, who even if they're in a relationship, aren't pussy-whipped and don't hate on my lifestyle, even though I know they see me as their "odd single friend" lol. So I go for beers with them every now and then, even if it's much less frequently than before. I suggest taking up a sport or a hobby to h…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
