That is given that there exactly 50% male and 50% female on the planet (that use a western style toilet) and occupy the same domicile at a gender rate equitable to 50%. It tore at the fabric of camaraderie and unit cohesion. A hot shower was a huge morale booster. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and value women in the military it was just the nature of the beast. I spent 4 years in the Army and served with women while in the Intelligence field. We still had to go out to the field and provide tactical intelligence support. These training missions were on average 2 weeks long. During this time the women were shipped to the rear every 3 days for showers... Showers... The reason given was because of the female anatomy.
