Paper given out that is meant to "Identify and Prevent Gender Based Bias in Police Responding in SA/DV" contains nothing about anti-male bias and in fact encourages doubting male victimsIt will straight up lie and fabricate sources. It's a tool that has a lot of uses, and I've used it myself multiple times. It's atrocious for doing any sort of research though. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/08/24 06:49 PM

As a LWMA, what is your view on gun control? (TW: CSA mentions)My opinion is that gun control is, has been, and will always be, the tool of authoritarians to oppress the common folk. Of course AWBs are idiotic and don't accomplish anything, the goal of AWBs isn't to reduce violence, it's to make sure disadvantaged people don't have the ability to fight against their oppressors. Red Flag Laws, while seemingly good in intention, are wholly incompatible with the concept of "innocent until proven guilty". Not to mention they're ineffective: if someone is a dang… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 26/07/24 02:37 AM
Reddit doesn’t care about you.If you're willing to give her website a visit, it's still up there. The gist is a man saying a line (I got robbed, men get lonely, this hairpiece makes me feel better) , then women berating him and dismissing the issue as his own fault. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/07/24 07:24 PM
Even the Senate’s proposal to make women register with Selective Service isn’t “equal”.Which won't ever happen. If a country is so threatened with its own existential crisis that it requires a draft to survive, such as Ukraine is right now, soldiers will not receive pay so high the country couldn't pay it, because by definition the country couldn't pay it. Those conscripted would be paid what they're paid, and that's it. An equal and just society would spread that burden equally among its citizens regardless of gender, especially now that combat duty has been integrated for years.… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 10/07/24 02:56 AM
Even the Senate’s proposal to make women register with Selective Service isn’t “equal”.Selective service is not something that will ever go away. The government will not give up the power to forcibly raise a military to defend itself, and I firmly believe that all platitudes of "end selective service" are a waste of time and energy that should be devoted to making it equal. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/07/24 10:08 PM
So are you guys familiar with the ways Feminists remove agency from women? As it relates to advocacy for problems men face? Yes, as every time male-centered issues come up outside of specific already male-centered places, feminists try to put a stop to it and harass/abuse the men involved. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 24/02/24 04:16 PM
So are you guys familiar with the ways Feminists remove agency from women? No, I'm refuting the idea that the NRA is something that people need to "get over". It's a broken, dying horse that's about to be taken out back behind the barn. The NRA is an ineffectual organization that doesn't actually do anything. It's not a hurdle, it's barely even a speed bump. They don't do any pro-gun advocacy, they basically exist solely to funnel Russian money into the pockets of the GOP. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 24/02/24 03:40 PM
So are you guys familiar with the ways Feminists remove agency from women? And because it's an organization, not a movement. There is no CEO of feminism like there is a CEO of the NRA. The NRA as it exists now is hated by both pro-gun and anti-gun people. The only ones who like the NRA are fudds who think it's still the 1960s, and Russians who use the NRA to launder money into the GOP to get them to parrot their propaganda. The NRA is only a "hurdle" for anti-gun people insofar as those people just don't have the required knowledge to say meaningful things. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 24/02/24 03:32 PM

In most heterosexual relationships, men still earn more than their wives, yet there persists a argument regarding household labor division. But if you both work 50 hours and you still vastly out earn her, why should that equate to her doing more housework? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/07/23 11:33 PM
In most heterosexual relationships, men still earn more than their wives, yet there persists a argument regarding household labor division.I'd like to point out a fallacy that this post seems to hinge it's entire argument upon: Namely, that earning more = working harder. Yes, in some jobs the harder you work is directly tired to how much you earn; however, that is not the case for a lot of jobs as well. Middle managers and the like typically earn far more than those they supervise while generally not working as hard. I've also noticed a correlation where it's not the difficultly of the work done, but the specialty of the work done … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/07/23 01:58 AM
