Hide your assets. Buy coins. Enjoy your kids. Spend as much ‘everyday’ time with them as you can now. They’re going with her when she leaves.

If she's on the mortgage, don't change the locks. You'll get in trouble. Wait until she leaves on her own but once she leaves, change 'em. Maybe encourage her to leave by bringing skanky women back to the house.

Most states allow you to end a lease if it's for the owner's personal use. Look into that. Also take a day off work & box up all her shit very, very carefully. Videotape yourself if you have to. Box it up & have it ready for her to move the fuck out. The second she takes the last thing out, begin changing the locks. Like, while she's walking to the car. Buy new locks in advance and change immediately. You're done, pal. Just move on.

Isn't it nuts? The one you want won't/wouldn't be affectionate & the one you've got/had was so affectionate that it annoyed you. Fine line, brother. I hear you. I feel you. I took a rich, beautiful woman to Cabo & broke up with her at the airport on the night we got home. I'm a heartless fuck, I know. But, like I said, I've only ever loved one woman & she's a cunt. Nothing you can do.

Brother, I'm an idiot. A romantic idiot. I'm 45 years old & I'm a really good looking guy. I bedded over 1000 women by the time I graduated college just to give you an idea. That was 1994. Once I had a job & some money it got crazy. Lots of women. Never felt much for anyone. Then I fell in love. I fell in love with the absolute WORST woman I could have. She was tough, athletic & 'bout to risk it all' beautiful. Both before and after I had women who adored me - took great care of me - who I had n…

I had about 4 in a row just like that. Could never give it even close to 100% because I wasn't interested in that. I just needed somewhere comfortable to lay down at night with someone who liked me. No matter who it was, I wasn't going to be committed. Totally normal.

It's possible but first you have to accept that it's over. Your wife, as you know her, is gone. It's like she died. You need to mourn for that. I'm not an overly sentimental guy but I saw a movie recently that had a line in it which crystalized the experience for me. For some reasons, an otherwise happy couple broke up. On the day of the divorce, one of them gave the other a note that said "I wish I could meet you again for the first time." If there's still stuff about her you love, stuff that's…

Not really. Just took everything for granted. I was in the same house for 3 weeks after she asked for divorce. She dated one person. He was around before she asked so that had a lot to do with it.

Yeah, I did it. Divorce was sudden & unexpected. I moved out & began to date a lot of different women. I also slowly lost my mind. A few things happened at work; my boss messed up & was reassigned. I had his loyalty & he was giving me some 'room' as far as being modestly distracted & sad. When I got a new boss, that ended. I packed up all my shit into storage, stuffed a ruck with everything I could & moved to Thailand. I wasn't there too long when I got a new job offer. Came back to the states &…

See attorney & file the complaint. Have her served. Call a realtor. Sell the house & split the proceeds with her 50/50. Request 50/50 custody. If she won't leave, you leave. She'll get the picture. (I recommend one of those extended-stay hotels with the kitchen & all that. From personal experience, finding and furnishing an apartment works out to be about the same cost with half the quality.) It's not going to get better or change. If things DO change, it'll be temporary. It's over, dude. Delete…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
