So yeah, we had a fight yesterday and ended things. It wasn’t flashy or anything, and to be honest I didn’t feel better. Regardless of what, I bear her no I’ll will. We were happy sometimes.

I’ll update Sunday. But I’m sure it’ll be nothing interesting.

I’ve tried it, it’s just not for me. A part of me still wants the emotional intimacy and sexual chemistry. Foolish, I know, but it is what it is.

I’m sorry man, as someone who used to not be in the best shape you have my uttermost sympathy. Getting super in shape and seeing the difference in how women treated me was one of the most bitter red pills to swallow.

I wasn’t trying to flex. Lol. But you’re absolutely right. 5 years ago I would’ve hung to this woman for dear life, but today she is just another “next”. This sub is one of the most useful places for men on the internet. I have a few “Chad” friends and believe me, having 6 girls around is nothing. One of my buddies has a phone he uses exclusively for women so they don’t fuck with his real relationships/ they’re easier to ignore. And this guy is an amateur Rugby player.

So, to bring in some context. Before I started dating her I had casual relations with 6 other women. Once I decided I wanted to get serious with her I stopped being intimate with the other ones, but still treated them as friends, because they are cool and there is no need to be an ass to them. Some of them fell off, and some have stuck around. Funnily enough, the moment I distanced myself from them was the moment they wanted me the most. They all knew they weren’t the only one, I never tried to …

100%. I’ll keep her around for whatever sex I can squish out of her, but I’m emotionally done with her. She is not worthy of commitment. We were supposed to go out tomorrow and suddenly she remembers it’s her friends birthday. Lol. I immediately messaged 2 of my plates and have back up plans set up.

If I were that man, I would do a live inheritance and give everything to my most capable son with the understanding that I’ll still get access to the money. That way he can’t get screwed over by siblings or fortune hunters like that fine young lady, and I get to enjoy my twilight years in comfort.

Homer wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey. Herodotus wrote The Histories.

My head canon is that 300 is so exaggerated because we are hearing the story through the pov of the last Spartan at the end of the movie.

A note to this, sailing is not easy, and it is not safe. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard some poor dudes last words on channel 16 as his boat was sinking, knowing full well that even if we went towards him at full speed we would not get there in time before he froze to death. If you’re serious about sailing read the following resources: 1) Coast guard rules and regulation manual/rules of the road. 2) Naval Officers ship handler’s guide (lots of good info on seamanship and weather). 3)…

The joke went right over your head buddy. Lol. The point of material objects outlasting ideas does hold some weight though. Going back to my original retort, the pharaohs’ ideology, religion, and cosmology are no more, all that is left of their civilization are the great works they left behind. Their way of thinking, even when known to us via their writing, pales in comparison to the physical manifestation of their impact on the world.

This. I have an iPhone 6s Plus because it was the last iPhone to have a headphone jack and because it can do everything I need it to do. Can I afford the new iPhone? Yes, I could go to any store and pick one up without even thinking. Am I going to waste over 1k on a phone? No, I can do better things with that money.

I have a 1 year emergency fund for exactly this type of situation. If I limit myself to essentials I can extend it to a year and a half.

He spent so much time thinking about wether or not he could, that he never stoped to consider wether or not he should. But seriously, that car is fucking amazing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
