Get 50 bucks together and buy a pull up bar and a reasonably heavy kettlebell. Work them into your current routine.

You aren't making them emotionally invested in you before you get the number. Like you said, girls give out numbers like candy, even to guys they don't like just because they feel bad or to make them go away. For girls to actually take time out of their day and meet with you, you need to make some kind of connection (shared interests, similar taste in music, favorite food, whatever). Be interesting. Stop thinking looks are everything. Maybe if you were 6'4/250 lbs and looked like Ryan Reynolds t…

If you're new to lifting it doesn't really matter. Pick a program that fits your schedule and follow it to the letter. Don't jump around from program to program

Eat meat. Eat fish. Eat chicken. As long as you're not a vegetarian, getting protein is incredibly easy. You clearly have access to the internet... Google the basics of cooking, watch YouTube videos, etc. Cooking is an invaluable skill (and it's a good way to impress the ladies). Start with making scrambled eggs. If you can do that a few times without burning the house down, go get some boneless chicken breasts at the grocery store, arrange them on a baking sheet, sprinkle some salt/pepper/seaso…

5/3/1. You start off light and progress painfully slowly, but it's set up in such a way that you can't not get bigger and stronger. Put your ego aside and follow it exactly how it's written. Also triple your daily protein intake (at minimum). You will never grow without adequate amounts of protein. If you drink a protein shake pre- and post-workout you just doubled your intake right there.

Definitely try it out. Once I started implementing this technique rather than going right for the number I started getting more dates than I actually had time to go on

All good advice. Personally I don't go for the number until after they agree to meet up. Doing this serves two purposes: 1) I use it to gauge how excited they are to meet me and how likely they are to show up for the date; 2) it makes them psychologically more invested in meeting me. After they agree to a time and place I just say, "Why don't you give me your number because tinder can be pretty unreliable." I almost always get the number. If they hesitate to give it to you, unmatch them and move…

I don't know what it is about that job, but it seems to exclusively attract single moms and emotionally damaged girls. I recommend staying away. Hostesses might be a better option but you don't usually interact with them much. Source: I'm a waiter

"A man's time is his most valuable and most limited resource." Word. This is why I started thinking of purchases in terms of time rather than dollars. Things don't cost "X" amount of dollars anymore, they cost "X" hours of my life.

I was planning on being very forward. I wouldn't want to waste time for either one of us. Something like "Hey, I'm SantinioHolmes. I don't mean to interrupt your workout, but I don't see you around here often and I wanted to introduce myself while i had the chance. Give me your number, we'll grab a drink sometime."

I've been going there 5-6 days a week for about 2 months. I keep to myself, only saying "good morning" or giving someone a spot if they ask me. Seen the girl in question maybe 10 times. I can't decide if she's serious about working out or not. Her clothes are functional and not very revealing, though they always look new. No make up or jewelry. Hair is always in a ponytail. She does a lot of dumbbell curls/presses. Never seen her near the TRX cables... Ideally I would like to approach her as she…

600 hours is an hour of practice a day for a little over a year and a half. That MIGHT get you to the intermediate stage if you are extremely focused. More than enough to learn some Jack Johnson songs on guitar to get laid, though.

That book is great. It's not the typical advice you hear from successful people like "follow your passion." He flat-out says that passion is bullshit and won't help you much because passion can easily fade when things aren't going well. Lots of other great practical advice in there as well.

Patrice asked them what they would do to keep their men around if they lost their pussies in some kind of accident. The mention of vagina may have steered them in a sexual direction, but the answer didn't necessarily have to be sexual. "Not nag so much" or "make him a sandwich without acting like he wants to take away my right to vote" would have been appropriate, but they immediately yelled out "anal" and "suck his dick" instead. A comedy show may not be the best environment for intellectual di…

I love when women get offended when they're told to learn how to cook. "Learn how to cook" is solid, gender-neutral life advice like "learn how to change a flat tire." I'm learning how to cook so I don't have to eat ramen noodles and Hot Pockets my whole life. Do they expect their millionaire CEO boyfriend/husband to take them out to 5-star restaurants every night? Or does he have a personal chef on call for her at all times in her entitled fantasy world? Being able to cook is a valuable skill f…

Very true. I'm a musician and tend to find musicianship to be an attractive quality in girls, but it only makes me more attracted to them if they're already physically attractive. No amount of time spent in a practice room will make an ugly musician more attractive.

Jesse had no real ability to think for himself and let everyone run his life. His survival throughout the series was almost entirely dependent on Walt, and the few times he wasn't saved by Walt he was saved by Saul, Gus, or Mike. The first time he thought for himself it got Walt to put a hit on him, two DEA agents killed, his girlfriend killed, and himself enslaved by a group of psycho neo nazis.

Why do they think the media is full of images of hot, fit, young women in the first place? That's what sells. The media didn't arbitrarily select who to put in the spotlight, nor did it invent an "unrealistic standard of beauty" for women to live up to. Decades of marketing research revealed what heterosexual men found attractive. I don't care how good you're marketing team is, you're never going to sell more magazines or Pepsi or diamonds or anything else by using images of Lena Dunham instead …

I've cut back on it significantly the past couple of months (once a week at the most), but I suppose the decade I used it as my only means of sexual release will take some time to overturn.

Another shot with her would be great but seems very unlikely. We hooked up on the last night before we both moved back home. We live about 600 miles apart.

I'm only on chapter 5 , but so far evolutionary psychology and sociobiology were only given a couple of paragraphs in the intro chapter. Rosenthal seems to think that everything is dictated by society. Here's another snippet from the chapter on sex and gender differences: "The dominant cultural stereotype is that men are more likely to initiate sex and be more sexually aggressive. Once a male hits puberty, society expects him to be almost perpetually aroused, and to seek out as many sexual partn…

Pay attention. Be consciously aware of your body language at all times. If you notice yourself slouching, straighten up. If you notice you just put your hands in your pockets, take them out. If you notice your arms are folded, unfold them. Eventually you'll stop doing these things altogether.

It's not a case of oneitis and I'm totally willing to walk away if things don't work out, but it doesn't feel like the opportunity is gone just yet. I suppose I am hung up on her for several reasons: 1) She's smoking hot. Definitely the hottest girl to show any signs of interest in me. 2) Probably should've mentioned this in the main post, but I'm a 22 year old virgin and this is the first legitimate opportunity that I've come across since I started reading Seddit about 2 months ago. 3) She's an…
