I agree with you until this: she decides that you guys should not sleep beside each other for that night. First off, sleeping on the couch is not bad for the baby. Secondly, they are both adults that should be able to discus the matter maturely. And the husband will probably sleep on the couch out of some feeling of remorse in the end.

Some places(Like Sweden) have the requirement that you need to be considered "rehabilitated" and not still dangerous before they release you after the life sentence. So even if you have been in for 15 years they could extend it. if you get sentenced to 15 years then they can not hold you longer than that.

I did not say Christmas, I said holidays. Because many countries have Yule and not Christmas. Walking around in stores and on the streets and not a single picture of Christ anywhere. It must be hard to be that easily triggered.
