Not that I know of. Women were given the 'protected' status in history due to their role as child-bearer and parent. Also, women become infertile while men do not. Because the supply of men and sperm is generally a lot greater than the supply of women and their eggs, combined with men's greater biological strength, meant they were expendable in almost all societies.

Some people just don't understand that we don't need a 50/50 gender ratio for every course and occupation. Men and women are going to make different choices to one another. Hell, women are paid (in the form of scholarships) to go into the STEM fields, yet far more men choose it than women. Also: I don't think men are innately MGTOWs, that would be absurd (IMO). Asexuals.

I think Perth, being the most isolated city in the world, counts as the middle of nowhere.
