Does your ‘gf’ know you think she’s a whore? Adults asking teenagers for advice about their adult relationship is about the weirdest thing ever.

Noticed how you skipped the gf part also being fake. Why is grown men posting on askteenagers? Yeah sure you’re Irish alright.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/25 06:37 PM

I've known women in abusive relationship, they were actual relationships where they lived together and called each other gf and bf. You think most women being murdered by their bfs are actually in situationships or something?

Your an obvious a troll probably lying about being Irish, based on your post history your likely a teenage boy making stuff up like being Irish or having a gf.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/25 05:35 PM

I thought women can’t even get chads in relationships so how can they’re getting abused by them? Most women aren’t being abused by one night stands, so the logic still doesn’t hold up.

I’m sorry are you seeing a lot of women claiming to be 4b still dating men or something? Never claimed it isn't. Ijs the majority of abortions are not done for that reason. And referring to your shared link: Doesn’t change it being massive concern when most states outlawing abortion have no rape exceptions and significant portion of women will be raped during their lifetime. The data is murky because reporting of rapes maybe underreported. Accurate data on rapes and sexual assaults are always ha…

What concerns me is this rhetoric is being justified by many as being a rational response to “women’s action” and it’s the fault of feminism. It’s messed up, it’s no different then racist blaming minorities and BLM for the rise of the alt right but this logic is apparently sound to them.

Yes, but compared to just a few years ago, their commentary just keeps getting worse and worse. To the point where comments like this in any redpill space where moderation isn’t a thing are the basically the norm. Yet we are being gaslighted by guys on here that’s not the case. Sorry but when you have the freakin white house going out there way to defend Andrew Tate you can’t keep up charade about the redpill being the underdogs.

Read the surveys, even married or men in relationships are more likely to report having friends of the opposite sex at a higher rate.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/25 10:01 AM

I know, I’m using the fact that gay men who have no sexual or romantic interest in women yet still befriend them as an example to contradict the idea men only befriend women for romantic or sexual motives. The two surveys I linked focus primarily on heterosexuals and heterosexual men are more likely to report having a close friend of the opposite sex then women.

Many men, I would even go as far to say most, would not hang out with women outside of the path leading to sex and/or affection. Below is why. How do you explain the fact many gay men have female friends then? This entire post is just you generalizing about your experience, men are actually more likely in surveys to report having close friends of the opposite sex than women. So a lot them do value platonic friendships with women. https://www.americansurveycenter.org/research/the-state-of-america…

I found this post on a redpill/manosphere adjacent subreddit, which uses a formula go calculate women's body counts: To calculate, first obtain these three pieces of information. Current age (CA) Age of defloration (AD) – the age she lost her virginity If unknown, call it 16. Total number of years (she tells you) she spent in any previous relationship (YR) Follow the steps and bullet points. Step 1 – calculate total thot time (time to thot) CA – AD – YR = total thot time (THT) in years Let's do …

You’re right that all studies have limitations, but you’re overlooking the weight of the broader evidence and misrepresenting key details. The 2009 Cancer study you referenced did involve 515 patients, and no, it didn’t track who initiated divorce. But it found a dramatic difference—20.8% of women were divorced or separated post-diagnosis compared to just 2.9% of men. That’s not something you can easily dismiss, especially when it aligns with a growing body of research. Calling that “conjecture”…

You brought up the MS divorce study (Strober et al., 2018), which found that men with MS had a higher divorce rate than healthy controls, while women didn’t show the same risk. That’s a valid point, but it’s one condition, and MS has some unique dynamics. It usually affects people younger in life—often before or during the parenting years—which makes it different from things like cancer or heart disease that tend to show up later in life. That context matters. And even within MS research, the fi…

For starters, some studies do look at who initiates the divorce—and they’ve found men are more likely to leave when their wife gets seriously ill. One of the most cited examples is a 2009 study published in Cancer, which found that in cases of serious illness like cancer or MS, about 21% of marriages ended when the wife was sick, compared to just 3% when the husband was sick. That’s a pretty big difference, and the researchers directly said men were more likely to leave. You mentioned mixed find…

Again can you please point me to where in the study says this: If you read the study, men were far more likely to "leave" their partners if they were married versus unmarried and co-habitating, I went through the study and no where does it say this at all. Bill Gates? You haven’t heard of Silicon Valley kink or sex clubs? Most people doing polycules aren’t conventionally attractive.

If she was considered average or attractive I doubt you see tweets calling her ugly get hundred of thousands of likes, the fact tons of men have high physical standards for attractiveness in women, you guys are only speaking for yourselves.

This is not answering my question. I asked where in the study did it say there was no difference for cohabitating couples vs married as you implied. The study used both married and cohabiting couples in their sample but made no comparative analysis between the two on the difference in likelihood to split. They also used 27 European countries in their sample not just Germany like you said earlier.

There were 27 countries in Europe in total they used for the study. Also can you point to me where the studies says this? If you read the study, men were far more likely to "leave" their partners if they were married versus unmarried and co-habitating,

She plays a character that’s meant to be teenage lesbian tomboy. Then again you also had men saying Margot Robbie and Sydney Sweeney were ugly, a lot men just have high standards for what they considered attractive. She’s not considered attractive which is why she gets bullied online for her looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 10:44 PM

The women that played Juliet was literally bullied so much online for her looks she was afraid to walk in public because of hate mail. Also plenty of nerdy rich guys have adventurous sex lives, that doesn’t make them physically attractive.

They don’t view her as average looking, she’s viewed as ugly.

Really? I’ve seen tons of average looking men talking about Bella Ramsey likes she is the most hideous creature in the world. And getting tons of likes for it. The character she plays isn’t even meant to to be a sex symbol so hate for her looks isn’t warranted.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 10:05 PM

Then why do Bella Ramsey, Caroline Ellison and the girl who played Juliet etc get massive hate for their looks despite not being fat if that’s all it takes to be attractive?

You claim you only see couples that are equal or the men more attractive. Not most, but only and never the other way around. This is only possible if you find men more attractive as a default on average.

She’s right, you are using one study about women having rape fantasies to conclude women watch more violent porn when the study doesn’t mention anything about pornography. I can cite you studies about men having rape fantasies too. This particular study only focused on women: A formidable 61% of women and 57% of men, out of 4100 Americans surveyed, admitted to having some form of rape fantasy. 54% of self-identified men had fantasized about this before, while 11.5% said they fantasized about it …

Lastly, you got your facts wrong. A majority of more than 80% of men in their early to late twenties are not in a relationship, and half of them stopped trying to find one. But sure, lets put the blame on the ones who are actually trying to solve the problem instead of reflecting on ourselves and realizing our mistakes... Any data in this? I was referring to dating woes in both sexes when I referred to problems. Women's dating woes are a problem that is seen as societal, and due to men's wrongdoings. Men's dating woes are seen as deserved and self inflicted. It’s probably because what they are complaining about. Most women’s ’dating woes’ that get societal or government recognition relate to things like domestic violence, martial rape, and femicide. Whereas most dating problems I see from men on here about not getting enough tinde…

It still makes no sense... That would mean most women have what, 2.5 partners due to more promiscuous women weighing larger numbers? I just can't buy that most women only have 2-4 partners their entire life. No way. Other studies are more realistic showing around 7-8 for people under 40. There a lot more people who theoretically skew the average lower then those who can skew the average higher. When you factor in asexual people, people who settle down young, people with low sex drives or low soc…

Except the study often quoted about the average number of sexual partners (around 4 for women in the U.S.) comes from large-scale national surveys, like the National Center for Health Statistics and General Social Survey (GSS), which are considered reliable sources and use consistent methodology over decades. Also, averages don’t mean “most women only sleep with 4 people and no more.” It means some have fewer, some have more, and the mean lands around that number. Also I pretty sure the “average…

I don't really play those games, but It doesn't sound meaningfully different from something you'd expect in a romance novel, So I can't shake the feeling this has little to do with the fantasy and is instead about who has the fantasy. I read romance novels a lot and I have never come across a story about a son raping his mother as a plot.

Repeat after me, the acts are still the same, don't try to rationalize it is disgusting. If the fiction is about me killing someone, you being killed or you watching someone getting killed the fact is plain and simple one: you're engaging out of your own free will with a fiction piece that show extreme violence, you do enjoy violence, I enjoy violence. So you would treat someone who told you they have fantasies about being raped the same as someone who told you they have fantasies about raping s…

No, the acts are still the same. The fantasy is different though. Imagining yourself being a passive victim where someone else inflicts harm on you vs imagining my yourself taking action to inflict harm on someone else creates a different dynamic. It's not, children death in movies are controversial. Sexual assault is to the modern romance genre what steroids is to competitive sports; everyone want to say how they're against it, that they don't consume it while it's the basis of the whole. The f…

Considering they have the a carbon copy plot of many of those shit romance fiction women consume like water, yes. Do you think that fact romance novels are from the perspective of the victim vs perpetrator like in No Mercy makes a difference though? So you think the main reason for disgust at these games is because women imagine then men playing them are unattractive? If that’s the case, do you believe if the developer of the game was revealed to be handsome or if a handsome man streamed himself playing the game there would less outrage?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 11:15 PM
2

I’m sure No Mercy is an extreme example, but that type of rape fantasy is still more common among men (at least according to studies) than women. Yes women have rape fantasies, but as a woman it’s pretty obvious who No Mercy was intended to appeal towards.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 10:51 PM

I really don’t have a strong opinion on the matter but my knee jerk reaction is disgust at games like No Mercy then video games like GTA for example.

Should we treat sexual violence in video games the same as murder, which the dominant view is it doesn’t lead to in real life violence so it’s ok. Or should sexual violence be treated differently, then general violence like murder in visual mediums like video games.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 10:13 PM
8

The debate about violent video games seems to be settled, I know there are still games like Hatred that draw up controversy but in general the notion is that violent video games don’t cause real life violence. Less studies is whether or not sexual violence in video games causes in real life sexual violence.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 10:01 PM

Nah, based on the sites I found these games from it was definitely men who were the intended target audience. Rape fantasies where you are the perpetrator are also more common among men, and men play video games more.

Yeah my title isn't formatted well since a debate post isn’t what I had in mind, only rewrote it to get it approved. The concept of hypergamy was first documented in studies of the Hindu caste system not from Hindu law. It specifically refers to Anuloma marriages, where women could marry into a higher caste, while Pratiloma marriages (men marrying lower-caste women) were discouraged. It was originally just a way to describe certain marriage patterns, but modern manosphere types have twisted it into this idea that women are always looking to “trade up” in relationships.

The manosphere also has cross over with white nationalist ideology, in fact the creator of the redpill definition of hypergamy was a white nationalist who primarily promoted and spread redpill ideology because he was concerned about falling white birth rates. Male supremacist communities, whose members portray themselves as victims of an oppressive system that favors women, latched onto Devlin’s reworked concept of “hypergamy.” The concept of hypergamy originally emerged from Hindu law in the 19…
