5	If you’re hung up on one person who is not invested in you, think of the regret you will eventually have over the precious time, opportunities, and emotional energy you wasted I’m in my 40s and married now but this post is completely true. There are plenty of girls I should have went for in my 20s but was fixated on an idealized version of a girl that lost interest or in the end just wasn’t right for me. Her true reason was worse than I bargained for and tbh I was better off not knowing and just moving on. He’d ask out waitresses in front of all of us, and would get shot down most of the time but he was great at playing it off. I used to hang out with this extremely extroverted and confident guy-he would hit on waitresses in front of everyone and when he got rejected he was playful about it to show it wasn’t a big deal. Go that route, and don’t let the rejection bother you if it happens, as it really is no big deal. Chances are she will take it as a compliment even if she says no. 2	A story from my youth There’s truth in that but it’s pretty general. I was told those things as well. The way I learned was from watching an extremely extroverted friend. Granted, that’s not me at all, but he’d hit on everyone, waitresses, bartenders, etc. He would get rejected in front of me and he was very good at playing it off. It was not one bit awkward.
