If you're doing the equivalent of a cold call on a random person, you absolutely don't need to apologize just for taking the five seconds of your/their time to say hi. ANYONE is worth talking to for five seconds. After that, if you were extremely weird, apologize (because don't be stupid), and if you weren't, just be like "alright, peace, have a good night then". It's stupidly simple. I think most of the redpillers on here are assuming that the dude didn't do anything particularly weird. In whic…

You either suffer the pain of working sober now, or suffer the pain of weaning yourself off alcohol game, which gets harder the longer you wait. Your choice.

I'd say that particular worry can even be a bit worse for dudes due to the expectation that you have to be better than all her previous lays. Introduce the concept of Chad and all RP men are now playing a losing game mentally.

I sacrificed my morals for game back in the day, and I've regretted the fact that that's weakened my strength of frame for a long time... I'd say it's worth sitting down and re-examining your personal code instead, and figuring out exactly who told you that you shouldn't do all this shit and why. Some of your principles are clearly holding you back. That's cool if you can about your principles more than you care about progress. Finally, figure out how to give your gift to the world- what does th…

So, the economy hasn't grown at all since the early agrarian settlements in the fertile crescent? Though you're clearly trying to make a point here, this statement is basically accurate. Having money will always (or almost always, you excellent fucking pedant) make it easier to get more money, and at least on the male side, having sex with women pretty much always makes it easier to have sex with more women.

Sometimes the ones that seem completely sane but have slept with a ton of dudes will fuck you up when you least expect it? Dunno. Could be useful but I've never been in that situation

I would say the only useful thing to come out of the "don't touch the high n-count" mentality is things like: "if she's potentially addicted to coke and parties every weekend, don't emotionally commit and start a serious relationship because by the law of probability she WILL eventually cheat on you at the worst possible moment". But you don't read that from n-count, you read that from behaviours.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/17 04:09 PM

To sum it up real quick, IMO high n-count is scary for a lot of guys, and this (wanting a virgin, etc) is the special RP (although seen in other masculine cultures) hamster reasoning chosen to deal with that fear.

TRPers like logic. A lot. To the point that this is possible... I'd say just the prospect of taking on someone who's seen a lot of dicks before is daunting to a lot of people, especially angerISH-phase RPers who know very well what a high n-count can mean but don't think they have the "alpha" characteristics to match the imaginary (or not so imaginary, those are stories for another time) ultra-badass in her past... as a man, you generally have to maintain supremacy at all costs, especially in fr…

Unless he's also the de facto leader of the group (which he's not always) and/or the most charismatic guy in the room, no, he won't. At least in my (admittedly pretty extensive) experience. Which is good for the rest of us humans who just haven't figured out how to get that jawline yet. :)

That's fear talking, not reason. There's a few things you're missing. First. Looks are largely under your control. This comes down to lifting, fashion, and eating well (oh look cool hobbies that make you interesting! What a coincidence). I actually have pretty good genetics and I'm 6 foot 1 but before I found out about all this shit I was a wack lil nerd with a pedo moustache. The three things I listed can make shit genetics look sexy as fuck, and lack of them can make model genetics look like c…

Absolutely possible. All I'm saying is in a group of guys with somewhat similar game/charisma/smv/idgaf which one is Chad is not gonna be the same every time they sit down at that dinner table. Every attractive (charismatic) guy gets occasional Chad streaks.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/17 04:32 AM
1

I agree. At least for me, that's an exaggeration that fuels me to keep becoming better / more attractive. Just part of the cultural mythology of the TRP community
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/17 04:18 AM
1

One thing. You could of course say it's "not a real chad" or whatever but in my experience (having both been and observed Chad at various times in my life) no one, no matter how godlike their looks, charisma, whatever, has the power to make other men completely fucking invisible except in very short periods of time (as in, if you're invisible, that's on you, not the chad in the room). I think the "Chad" you're talking about here is really a charisma halo effect more than an actual person.

It's clear you're trying to bait something out here . Let it go . He's a stereotype . An icon . A shorthand for "that dude who has innate advantages and is more attractive than you" . That's all it means .
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/17 04:07 AM

As a previous depressed introvert who became naturally "alpha" as fuck, I disagree with you. TRP is far too angry and tryhard to be the easiest way to get "alpha", but there is a way. I say "alpha" in quotations because it's become a buzzword that we throw around, I much prefer something like "attractive"... "alpha" puts the focus far too much on pure dominance, which is not the only attractive behavior.

I've been doing this for a couple years. 18 now, and my life isn't together yet, but it's going there very fast. EVERYONE should do this in their teens. I need more competition.

Try reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle if you're willing to take suggestions. Sounds like you've got a lot of negativity and pain blocking you from becoming what you truly could be.

I would add- original (and most current) pickup material is written from a heterosexual male point of view. That's just what the PUA community is. Heterosexual women have their own version of this (The Rules / literally any issue of Cosmo, anyone?). EVERYONE has their own version of this. There is a point in the "goldilocks" idea, though- when you're too high value, girls start to (facetiously and then seriously) hate you (ever pushed buying temperature WAY too high and just burned a girl out?).…

The new, improved "you" that you would get by, for instance, lifting, is by definition outside your comfort zone (what random nerd is completely comfortable their first time going to the gym?) and therefore doesn't feel like "you". "Just be yourself" BY DEFINITION means "Don't improve".

It's wrong if you decide it's wrong. If you look deep into yourself and decide that you didn't honestly want that number, then it's perfectly fine. But if you're lying to yourself and you actually did, THEN you need to make some changes.

The general community consensus seems to be that you should be able to pickup sober. However, if you want more fun and you think that alcohol is the way to have more fun, go right ahead. The problem is needing it.

I don't know about Xanax but the 7 hour rule is complete bullshit. If she's ready in 1 hour (aka if you get your vibe down) then you basically have to pull or you lose the set. So I'd say: OP, watch for signs, & keep it moving. One night stands are regular- the game is a game of increasing your percentages so that "getting lucky" becomes "getting likely".

Why does this need to be in terms of morality? Attraction / infatuation / "love" exists for a certain time period. It's a combination of chemicals. It doesn't last forever. Even in very good relationships, it eventually turns into a more domestic attraction. It becomes "normal". In most relationships, someone fucks up at some point (because it takes a long time to figure out what kind of relationship you want and to consistently get there), and things don't go so well. Someone leaves. Is it mora…

TRP isn't big enough to gain any significant cultural attention. The moment it gets any cultural attention, the media will focus on the worst parts of it and make it seem like a hate group. Other than that, yeah, it would be cool if all the outcast betas decided to lift, boost their SMV, and all that. But it's hard enough to change the bedrock of your identity that most outcast betas will feel more comfortable staying outcasts. Overall, not much change caused by this.

Some people are more open about their desire for sex. Some aren't. The point of AWALT is that if you fail to keep your girl sexually satisfied, she will find someone who can sexually satisfy her. Be good in bed. Really fucking good.

Here's the thing: a lot of the time the captain save-a-ho behaviors are so normalized that it's difficult to even identity them. I don't know why, but far too often men just don't have clearly defined boundaries and they let women take over their lives. Does this match your experience? Where are the boundaries usually defined?

Oh look, a rational response. How did that get there? There's not enough ad hominem or generalizations. Go back and fix it. This is what this subreddit should be, guys. Take notes.

Yep, I agree that there's some serious bullshit out there. The hamstering on some of the issues you described is incredible, mainly because a large part of feminist identity stems from the idea that they are oppressed. Just be careful: it's far too easy to get butthurt over this to the exclusion of rational action.

Why is this so common? Oops, it's because blue pill and SJWs have to straw man TRP in order to ignore the good parts of it. r/thebluepill is basically one big strawman

Also, everyone who doesn't need to blame women for their problems with women has moved on to some other form of self-improvement. To all TRPers: gather what good advice you can, test it and see if it works, then go find other self improvement communities and repeat.

We're not talking about every "no". When you get a hard "no", obviously you stop. It's the difference between being persistent and being predatory.

You're also judging someone you don't know. There is a line between aggressive and abusive, yes, but we don't know enough about the situation there to point fingers, even if pointing fingers was an even mildly useful pastime.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/15 09:04 PM

You're assuming the woman doesn't want sex. Women want sex, they just also want to feel hard-to-get. Hence the "no".

Honestly, TRP is [insert percentage] misogynist bitching and [insert percentage] legitimate improvement advice. Some of TRP theory is overly misogynist, yes, but most redpillers aren't going to take any kind of action. So: harmful? I'd say not. Especially because TRP, while being partially accurate, will never gain enough acceptance to make any sort of impact.

Dunno where you live. This is probably better if you have a region-specific sub-seddit. That being said. The mall is usually the best. Also, if your town/city/area has any touristy spots, try those. Also, college. Set yourself up at one with lots of cute girls. Good luck!
/r/seduction11/07/15 03:16 AM

Stop. Using. The. Numbering. System. Seriously. The moment you perceive a girl to be more attractive than you (that is, you number her higher than you and thus place her out of your reach), you are placing her on a pedestal. We all know what happens when you place girls on a pedestal.
/r/seduction01/05/15 10:16 PM

Why do you need to be funny when you can be sexy? The sexually direct guy often gets ridiculously positive reactions in my experience, but you have to be quite ballsy. If you're far enough in state, you don't need humor.
/r/seduction01/05/15 10:08 PM

Honestly, I don't know what to do if you want to actually continue this relationship/interaction. My idea was that you simply drop it because there's virtually no chance you'll see her again (unless she was incredibly into you, in which case go for it and read a bunch of text game manuals or whatever) Sorry to be unhelpful, text game is just not my forte.
/r/seduction20/04/15 11:34 AM

Good work dude. Leave it alone now- It was good practice (and sounds like you were a boss) but long distance text goes nowhere.

Read something once: the worst you can possibly do is seem like a regular awkward guy. Kinda sad truth in our society, but just being here, just posting this, just going out and working to improve yourself puts you in the top 5%, maybe even less, of dudes. Keep going strong, brother :)
/r/seduction19/04/15 05:44 AM

The most important part of this, to my mind, is the end. You can only lift yourself up if you treat setbacks not as failure, but as an example of what not to be. With every failure, you have defined your future self just a little bit more clearly.

Befriend the dude and learn from his shit. No reason to be angry here. There's an AMOG I know who has a complete lock on a social circle I'm in and I haven't been able to break in, but I've learned a lot from watching him work. Naturals do some crazy cool shit.

I've heard that if the girl likes you enough, she'll keep her friends off you. I think that was from Chase Amante, he has a good article or two on the subject. Not something I've field tested, but sounds like you'll get a chance to.

Just escalate, dude.
/r/seduction24/01/15 04:00 AM

On the other hand, I've heard a lot that you don't want to associate with her social circle too much. It's too easy to fall into gaming the group and trying to be seen as likable instead of just being that guy that their friend is with for now. Also, if you game the group you're largely expected to fend for yourself, but if they don't know you, you come in with roughly the same social value as their friend. Not field tested by me but field tested by other people.
/r/seduction23/01/15 05:36 AM

Yes. Adds to your age if you're under, say, 25, and seems more dominant. Stubble is sexy, full beard is dominant. (At least that's what I've read on a number of pickup discussions, haven't field tested this yet)
