Separation of church and state is Constitutional "law." In this case it is as intended by Jefferson, to protect the church from the state, not the other way around, which is not Constitutional at all. Also, Christians break laws all the time. The underground railroad before the Civil War, smuggling the Bible into places where it is illegal, you name it. Preserving your marriage is more important than registering your marriage or asking the state which is destroying it for permission. As for prep…

No, no. He was "controlling and manipulative." If he or they even know about the children. She doesn't have to tell. Women have every choice. Does the child live or die, kept or given up for adoption, tell the father or don't tell the father. If you know who he is, that is.

Women complain about the pain of childbirth, but I'd rather that than the pain of wondering if my Son is really mine. That is an unbearable thing, and it isn't replaced by something joyful as in childbirth.

I'm starting to wonder if "she" is an adult or an animal. The conscious choice to be honorable and virtuous seems to be absent from the fairer sex. Instead of being ruled by promises and morals they seem to be ruled by hormones and momentary feelings.

He didn't have to do anything. She's a woman.

God bless you for enduring this and fighting for your son. He needs you. You are doing great. Hang tough.

Why do you need to give legal protection? "Separation of Church and State." Ha. If a church won't perform and recognize a marriage without state permission, it's not a church.

Wild at Heart is great, Beautiful Outlaw will make you fall in love with Jesus even more. My former wife tried and failed over and over to start a business until she finally succeeded. Once she broke six figures, I never knew. We should have been popping Champaign. I learned from Better Bachelor on YouTube 90% of wives who earn more than their husbands leave them. She willingly gave up half her time with our little Sons, both still under ten, while taking that time from me. I'm not really sure w…

My faith has grown, due to a lot of prayer and fasting, and listening to the spiritual warfare series on the podcast from John Eldredge that came out about the same time as my receipt of divorce papers. God has come through for me at just the right time so many times. However, I have lost faith in the bride. The leadership of the church where I was a member for more than 20 years wanted to be neutral, which is impossible. We know you when you have a problem with another Christian, maybe even you…

There is no laying low for you. Her hostility is aimed straight at you no matter what you do because it's not about you. Have you considered pushing it? Peace isn't working. Talk to your stepdad like she isn't there. He will either stand up to her or not. Alternatively, say if you can't talk to him you want your dad. Every time. If he isn't in your life, do your part to make sure he is if it isn't his choice. If and when she snaps, it's ammo for the future.

If she always bursts in when you talk about this and the location is the same, search for a bug. She's listening. If you really think there is no help for a child, which you are and that's not an insult, who is being abused, I have to believe you're wrong. If you can talk to your school guidance counselor with any confidentiality, that might be another avenue. It seems talking to her guy may not be fruitful, though.

Young man, it was not "obvious." That's why I asked. You're comfortable with him because he is easy on you. Let me give it to you straight. I don't know what the law is where you live because being an American it isn't "obvious" to me. I would guess though that there are authorities when it comes to these matters where you live. Withholding meals is abuse, and threatening that is threatening abuse, which is abuse. Report her to your equivalent of Child Protective Services. Get your money under y…

Why don't you open a checking account at a bank or credit union and have your employer direct deposit your earnings? If she's threatening to cut off your food, use the money she makes to get your own. You'll still save money. Your step-dad doesn't think much of himself to refer to her as a "single mom." How is he your step dad and she's still "single?"

My little boys pointed out the song Never Enough from The Greatest Showman as proof. They're in single digits and smarter than I was two years ago.

Society has become completely evil. If you are a believer, remember God is not neutral in this or any other such injustice.

You can tell how much society values something by the punishment handed out to those who damage it. The virtue of the young is worthless today, and the virtue of young men more than young ladies.

They need to discourage an actual crime, pressing false charges. That has nothing to do with pressing charges which are true. The two have nothing in common but an appearance.

It's pretty sad when your wife of 23 years has to find out the hard way after divorcing you. You were past the wall and had a husband who loved you, but not anymore. The love and the husband are no more.

Hang in there. Fight back and make sure your lawyer is fighting for you. Can you pursue perjury charges against her allegation?

His channel has really helped me power through the heartbreak of my divorce. I have moved from desperately wanting to save my 23 year marriage, especially for my sons (8 & 1/2 and 6 & 8 months), to not wanting to have anything to do with her, which is not an option and the ONLY downside to being a father. I do pray for us still, but only out of a desire to be a Godly man, not a desire for her. Joker doesn't know me from Adam, but he's been a friend offering wisdom in the darkest time of my life.…
