Technically, since slow Zebras in the pack get caught by the predators, there only should be Zebras that are faster than predators, and all predators should starve to extinction. Reminds me of this Turkish story: Scorpion asks the Toad: "Can you take me on your back and help me cross the river?" Toad replies: "You take me for a fool? You'll sting me if I do that." Scorpion says:"Why would I? We'd both drown if I do that." Finding the statement logical Toad agrees.
