I've had 2 lawyers. First was a male and he did absolutely nothing for me and took my money. 2nd is a female. She's an absolute pit bull and is exactly what i needed. However due to my stbxw and her issues I have paid a full ransom to my lawyer but I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have her. You need someone to stick up for you and that's what I have.

i'm closing in on 5 years. I started watching this and I'm at the 3 minute mark and I'm crying. 5k for lawyer 1 who did nothing. 23k to current lawyer and the end is actually in sight. I'm never going to do this again it's been horrific.

4 years, 20k (on my 2nd lawyer), just found out today my ex either fired her lawyer or her lawyer fired her and this would be the 2nd time this exact thing has happened with her. Everything is just fucked.

Unfortunately yes. Both of us are on our second lawyer. I have paid my current lawyer just over double what I paid my first lawyer and we are still not divorced. I'm broken mentally and physically and I'm taking all the help I can get because unfortunately I have come to realize that I really need the help. what about going to see a movie by yourself. Seating is usually capped these days because of covid so you can be by yourself but it will be dark so you won't feel singled out. Everyone will be watching the movie anyways. Grab some nice treats for yourself and forget about the world around you for a couple of hours and enjoy a nice movie.
