1	Unfortunately only an 8 year sentence I think it's widely accepted that sexual abusers are typically victims of abuse themselves. As a hypothetical, how long should a teenage offender be punished assuming they were victims also? 7	Unfortunately only an 8 year sentence Not sure where you're from but here in the US we've been on this trend of ever-increasing sentences over the last few decades and it really hasn't helped anything. 8 years is a significant sentence and with proper treatment this person (probably) could be rehabilitated. I'm not saying what she did wasn't horribly wrong but we just have overwhelming evidence that long prison sentences don't fix anything and in most cases makes things much worse.	/r/PussyPassDenied	11/01/20 03:30 PM
