I don't care if you're a man or a woman, if you sit on a bus with your legs spread like that you're just an asshole.

I'm not going to argue with that because I haven't looked into it but just stating that as many men want to become teachers as women doesn't mean it's universally true.

Well can you show that it's because schools are deliberately only hiring women or just that more women are applying for the jobs? That's all I'm saying. I'm 30

This one seems a little far fetched to me. At least in terms of it being discrimination. It's not discrimination that more women become teachers and more men become janitors. Also this was not my experience, growing up my ratio or female to male teachers was like 60/40.

That isn't even what happened in the example that you shared.

Not all feminists have the same views on what a feminist should be.

I don't care what gender you are, being fat should not be glorified. I'm aware that not everyone can be thin for fit and I'm not saying that we should treat fat people as subhuman or anything, but to be trying to glorify being obese is a problem.

Yeah fair point

I think the only time that statement kind of has a point is when it's used In response to victim blaming a woman who was raped or assaulted. When someone says shit like "well why was she dressed like that?" or "maybe she shouldn't have put herself in that situation".

You heard it here first guys, having a close relationship with another man is sexist.

I really struggle with the idea that excluding men based only on the fact they they're men, but not excluding women is somehow equality.

The idea of teaching boys (and girls) about sexual boundaries and consent is always a good idea. Acting like every boy is a potential rapist that needs to be changed is incredibly damaging.

I think the "official" stance is that girl power is empowering and boy power is misogyny

Yes I agree it's not acceptable to do it to a stranger I'm just saying that's why she does it and nobody seems to care. Maybe that didn't come off well in my original comment.

I stand by what I said. I don't know how you can think that women getting the right to vote wasn't about equality.

At the risk of getting down voted to oblivion, feminism WAS about equality. That was the whole point of the moment. Thing is now we all have equal rights so theyre left with nothing to do but warp the narrative and do stupid shit like this.

It says that she was the victim in the eyes of the law, I'm curious what that actually means. I haven't exactly looked into the situation I've just seen the broad strokes on reddit.

I get the issue with the"Real Man" thing, but people seem to be upset that he made a choice to protect someone. He's a hero because he chose to risk his own life to protect someone he probably cared about. The fact that he is a man and she is a woman is completely irrelevant.

The guy says "I'm not complaining". Yes there are double standards but if the guy doesn't care then it's not a problem. If I walk up to a random girl and grab her tots and she just laughs, it's not really an issue either.

No penis no opinion seems like something that works for women but not for men.

It's the woman's choice whether or not to abort the pregnancy or carry it to term. The man should be able to chose for himself if he wants to be involved in the child's life. The woman is still free to make whatever choice she wants without him. This way she is making the choice for herself and he is making the choice for himself.

My Girlfriend makes more money than I do and she pays for more stuff than I do when we go out. Even when were first dating she felt like if she invited me out to dinner it's only fair that she pay if we don't split it.

So gay rights activist... But men don't diserve rights... Good job.

Why do you need men to feel bad about themselves? You don't want men to accept their body for what it is when they don't have any other option? Maybe it's possible that some men just don't share your opinion. It seems kinda fucked up to say "No you're wrong for being happy with your body, you should be miserable and upset about it". Trying to stop it from being a normal thing to do in the future is fine, but you shouldn't be trying to convince men who have been circumsized that there is somethin…

It probably is better for a child to grow up with a loving mother and father but that doesn't mean that a heterosexual couple will be better parents than a homosexual couple. It's more about how they raise the child than the gender of the parents.

I've never donated and don't plan on it, but I'd it normal for the donor to have a say in where it goes. It seems to me that once you donate your sperm it's pretty much up to them what they do with it.

Would you see it differently if he did it to save his younger brother? To me it's more about him saving a younger sibling than saving a girl just because he's a boy.

Well where do you live in the world? I know that in north America it is much more common to be cut than it is in the rest of the world. I think more of my friends are circumcised than not. So living in Canada like people would have a different opinion of it than Europe I imagine. Besides I'm not trying to universally defend the idea of circumcision I'm just saying from my perspective I've never felt violated or unwhole because of it.

I mean it doesn't have any scars or anything.. I think it looks more visually appealing and I think that is the general consensus in north America at least. Probably because people are more used to it. I'll admit my opinion and experience is 100% anticdotal and not scientific at all. What are the dozen functions I'm missing exactly? (I'm honestly curious). I get that people don't like not having the choice but I will also say it's not always just women that make that choice.

Interesting I was circumcised at birth (not for religious reasons) and I've never had a problem with it. Personally I'm glad I was because I think it is more visually appealing. It seems most girls in Canada and the US do as well. I've never once felt like I was missing something or incomplete, let alone resented my parents for making the decision for me. I honestly didn't even know anyone felt that way until very recently.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
