If you’re happy, that’s all that matters at the end of the day

Post college I had a major glow up and since then every passing year I feel more and more confident on my appearance. The moment it really hit me was when I was 28 and walked into a bar with a few friends and noticed half the girls on the dance floor eyeing me up and dancing around me. I had my pick of the litter that night and took home the hottest one with what seemed like very little effort. Like anyone I’ve had periods of up and down where I feel less confident, then periods where I’m almost…

Way different. We’re talking about logistics of a scheduled date. If you text the girl all the time and come off as needy then yeah bad idea. Nothing wrong with confirming something you’ve agreed on (using common sense judgement and basic social skills)

I think this is overthinking it - if I set up a date with a girl and haven’t communicated in a few days, I send a message earlier in the day just confirming. If you come off as a loser in your communications then yeah you’ll probably come off as needy or desperate with the confirmation. If you’re not that, then it will be normal

Disagree with #1. I’m sure there’s a way where it comes off wrongly but nothing wrong with confirming something if you haven’t communicated in a few days

Lots of good advice in here - I’ll add another one. When we’re making eye contact and sitting or standing close, I’ll stare for a few seconds at her lips and be very obvious about it so she notices. I don’t know how true this is but seems like it subconsciously gets them thinking about a kiss. Then based on her body language I’ll go in for the kiss. I’ve found this to work a lot

I don’t think going out to pick up girls is weird at all but it’s definitely weird to go to a college campus that you don’t go to to pick up chicks. It’s like going to a gym to pick up girls but not working out or using the gym in any way. Any girl that asks you if you go to the school is probably gonna think you’re weird when you say no

Lots of black people are poor, yes, so proportionally to their mix of the population black people receive more negatives. But poor white people deal with all the same shit

The top 0.1% of OF earners are making around $300k or more. Dropping down to top 1% dramatically drops that number to ~$50k or more per year (all gross earnings so deduct 20% for OF fee).

Yeah I could start a meme museum and be the meme curator

Studying women’s studies so you can then teach it is a circular loop. If you’re passionate about Mesopotamian agriculture then study on your own time as an interest. I have lots of things I read about because I’m interested (WW2 history, for example). But majoring in that would be a waste.

Nothing against people getting those degrees but it just seems like a bad ROI. You spend all this money on education and invest the time and at the end of it have a degree in a field that doesn’t really pay well and is questionable in terms of demand

It’s a waste to pursue. I like memes but I wouldn’t spend four years getting a degree in memes

Nothing against equal rights and non hateful feminism but what is the point of getting a degree in women’s studies? Like why go to school for specialized education in that? I have lots of things I’m interested in on a personal basis but I majored in an actual skill set (accounting) not because I love accounting but because it’s something you need specialized education in.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
