This sounded like a neurotic woman who made a lot of bad choices in her life now trying to not take responsibility for her own actions and instead blame men. Whatever, good luck with that. I'll just be here, being mediocre and trying hard and aiming up going for positions I have no qualifications for, or something like that. I feel bad for the authors husband, poor guy is on permanent probation. That's no way to live brah. I also don't think her book should be banned, it should be widely publish…
Just let him be. This works for me. If I'm upset at something and my parter is around me and asking me "whats wrong" or "is everything alright?" Its added stress and I don't necessarily need to talk to her about it, I need time to marinate on it before I unload that baggage on her. Working it out in my head first usually puts into perspective what I was upset about and at times it ends up being nothing and i just needed to cool down.
