20F here: I lurk and sympathize and be as kind and respectful as I can to men but idk what I can do about all these issues besides that.

Judges really said: it’s statuatory rape since he’s not old enough to consent, but since he consented it doesn’t count 🤦‍♀️

To get karma on r/memes you have to phrase your meme from a male perspective

I agree. I am female, but a conservative Christian (hate if you want, it doesn’t bother me). I read a book called “Love and Respect”, the gist of it being that men need respect and women need love. It thankfully goes on to provide examples and definitions of this as well as suggestions for improving one’s heterosexual christian marriage. While the book is based on a few biblical verses, the majority is based on the writer’s experiences with his wife and the thousands of couples he’s counseled as…

Um, did anyone read the part where the books she’s reading him consist of one called “C is for Consent” which teaches kids not to be “ageist”, among other things, meaning they can consent, at any age, to sensual or sexual contact from anyone, including adults and family members. Sick fuck

They aren’t choosing a more difficult life. Working out your problems with your partner, apologizing and improving yourself is hard. Setting up child support (free income) for the next decade or two while running away from your problems (spouse) is easy.

There are so many involving genital mutilation of male victims. It really seems like when a woman kills a boy or man, it is likely to be BECAUSE he is male; like a hate crime. In stories of women being murdered by a man, sure there are plenty where she is raped before or after being murdered, but how many stories include the murderer mutilating a female victim’s breasts or vagina?

I’m proud of you man. Keep losing that weight and getting healthy. Your drive to improve yourself is what makes you “perfect”. Keep it up!

Yes, I was repeating what you said just in another way because all these references and colloquialisms can get lost in translation. Op said English isn’t his native language so I’m just trying to help

Hey op, not sure how familiar you are with “sayings” in the English language so just in case ^ this dudes last sentence is a metaphor suggesting that you can’t win a card game if you don’t first look at the cards you have. In today’s society, the “cards you have” are not as good as a female’s cards, but that doesn’t mean you can’t win, just that you will have to be smart about it.

As for “fragile male ego” I would say that having self-respect should not be a gendered topic. I know they would find some senseless comeback to this, but it really points out the heart of the matter. They want to destroy our self-respect to make us more controllable as servants, pets, and entertainment

Lol this video “[we are] people who value health as something much more wholistic than a number on an outdated BMI index but instead value mental health, self worth, and how we feel in our bodies” Like lol tell me how great your mental health is when you have a heart attack or diabetes or a stroke or can’t keep up with your child. Yeah health should be wholistic, but that means acknowledging all aspects of health not just mental and emotional. You need to address the scientific, factual, physica…

I agree, no dick-thinking, no indulging psychos of any gender. I’m just recognizing that said psycho woman chose to break windows and falsely accuse, this is not the mans fault, but I do recognize the big part he had to play by allowing it.

You’re being kinda hard on Men here, I agree that this encouragement of lesbian activity by guys in a committed heterosexual relationship is NOT HEALTHY but at the end of the day, every person is responsible for their own actions, regardless of gender or peer pressure (albeit very strong pressure). Women engage in lesbian activity because they want to and choose to. They are also responsible

Women are actually very highly represented in stem, often more than 50%. The stats will say otherwise but that’s because they change the definition of STEM to exclude all women-dominated fields like veterinary science, medical science, biology, psychology, other social sciences, and even some branches of physics, so you’re left with the only fields that men just so happen to dominate (women are the majority in nearly all other fields and have higher rates of college applications, high school and…

The people complaining are doing just that: complaining. They aren’t solving anything, they sit on their lazy privileged asses and post about how hard their life is with their internet connection and cell phone; two things they make them already way more privileged than most people in the world. If I were to post on a societal issue, it would be an invite to a March/protest or a link to donate to an issue, not a rant

I’ve heard that story so many times. My mom would use it to explain the scripture from the Bible “teach your children in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it” It’s a two edged sword because yes, you need to teach your kids right from wrong, but when bad parents teach their kids they are worthless and weak, it is very hard for them to fight it even when they have the power to do so. I think the key is this: “in the way they SHOULD go” ie not the way your twis…

They closed it because people were commenting off-topic. The point of the sub is to provide emotional support to the posters, not to rant on certain ideologies or beliefs, even feminism. People kept ranting about feminism, and while they are probably right, that’s just not the point of the sub Edit: all comments on the post were already deleted so I didn’t actually see the content of your deleted comments, I was going off the mods description of the issue. I think every child should be raised bilingually because of the objective benefits to brain development, but Latin is no longer a spoken language, it is a Proto language which has since adapted and split so it is now several daughter languages including Spanish, French, and Italian. There is no point to learning Latin, but there are huge benefits for learning a modern version of Latin, ie. A Romance language

Oh definitely, but being a SAHM shouldn’t make you that comfortable. Feminism on the other hand, telling women that they are entitled to everything without trying, will make women comfortable and lazy

This seems like a unique case. Parenting, done properly, is heroic - Incredibles 2 (paraphrasing) There should be time still for self improvement, and there is much to be learned from little children. I think your mom just chose to become lazy and that this choice is unrelated to her being a SAHM

If they aren’t educated well, isn’t that indicative of the school system failing them? Most women aren’t any of those things either And I disagree, the men I’ve met are trustworthy, handsome, patient, respectable, honest, and more monogamous than most women are. It would certainly help if they stopped getting raped by women like you who see them as garbage, not good for anything other than walking over. If men are being dishonest to you, it’s because you aren’t trustworthy. If they aren’t well e…

I wanted to see for myself how bad the sub was after following this sub for a while. I must say, it is just as bad as y’all’ve made it out to be (sorry for very Texan language) The first screenshot is a post which is obviously disturbing, so I delved into the comments to see if anyone asked the obvious question: “do men also deserve respect if they are any of these things?” The second screenshot of deleted comments I believe was someone asking something along those lines. “Adequate representation” is required by law and many people (mostly women) get a retrial because of this. Some of these retrials get the same result, some don’t, and some exonerate innocents like Hannah Overton https://abcnews.go.com/US/texas-mother-murder-conviction-overturned-receive-500k-state/story?id=53578422 But most of these retrials are only granted to women, so yes, it is biased, but having due process for half the population is better than none. Still pisses me off tho that men rarely…
