why do you need to overcome it? it seems like you have a value and that's it. some people don't have that as a value.

99% of people are neither. It's just a made up concept that people like to self diagnose. You just don't like to be around people because......you're around people you don't like.

it's the exact same no matter what you're seeking. the only difference in how you should act is that when the question comes up from her on being exclusive you say yes vs no. there is zero difference. all fwbs come to an end because one side want more and the other doesnt because either that exclusivity question is asked or some form of commitment is required. guys shouldnt overthink this, be a good guy, keep dating her if you want this, let her ask these questions regardless of how you feel abo…

Women know men way more than men know women. Women also live in the moment a little more than men do so emotions will subside and they'll be more cautious. Women also know how to 'play' the part of being attractive to a man they like. Men don't for women! A lot of times it's unintentional or inadverdent when they do manage find a mate. That's why a lot of 'game' is just not applicable beyond don't be a needy weirdo.

it is a big deal, you couldnt even remember the only thing she told you. what do you think that means to a woman?

If you're attractive it's like neutralizing your attractiveness and being the same as everyone else. In reality, anyone who is decent looking (IE clothes fit and are fashionable, decent cut, decent shape) is going to do way better in a non nightlife setting. Your best shot is to just have fun and it'll come.

so your issue is you want someone that takes more initiative, not that you fear her lack of initiative means no interest (she shows up and replies, so shes clearly interested). This is a compatibility thing. Bring it up and see what her thoughts are. I'm sure her response will be interesting for you.

the reason women dont make effort in text convos initially is because theres 1000 text messages bombarding them a day. you may not realize this but any decent attractive women will get that much attention and nobody can have energy to engage all the convos at once. So when they do make effort it means theyre interested in you. Put your efforts into those people.

Nothing, people just realize they dont really match with you beyond initial chemistry. 3 dates in is often times where you think of the question is this someone I want to keep spending time with. For most people its gonna be no. And thats fine. Thats why we date.

Hard to get is barely a thing anymore. Nobody really does this besides 1% of girls if anything. Nowadays if she likes you, she will not play games like that. She'll make it obvious and tell you. Women are more direct than ever nowadays.

do whatever and see what YOU like and feel comfortable with. i would not focus on this kind of stuff on the first date.

do you find it attractive when someone you are attracted to wants to have sex with you?

99% of matches are there to scam you. There's probably a few common scams you can look up for each locality. General rules: Set the time and place near where you are staying. Don't let her do it. Don't go anywhere with her to areas you don't recognize and aren't comfortable. Your gut feeling is right. I don't think you're in any danger though, if they wanted to kill you or steal your organs they won't leave a digital footprint.

So, I pressed a little further, asking what was going on between them, but she didn’t give me her number. Yeah she's not interested. That's all it is. A rejection.

you can talk about sex you know that right? you're both grown adults. you dont need to be directly asking about her sex life but you can bring up topics like past experiences, hookups, and other things like what she find attractive or a turn on without going to deep into the gritty details (to avoid looking like a perv) of course touching and escalation are important but not a prereq to bring up sexual topics.

women dont test you like this as frequently anymore. operating like this with dating like this is very 2000s-2010s focused. it's not a thing. in a positive of online dating, this has made things easier when you land a date. you dont really need to think much besides act normal and be more direct.

you can google more studies but this is what i found from 2 seconds off google https://www.salon.com/2022/11/06/why-are-so-many-young-people-are-having-less-and-fewer-friendships/ people are having less sex and getting more antisocial in general. the framing that it means women have leverage is very bizarre. there's a more relevant and serious context going on anyways.

dont listen to this guy unless you WANT to be detached as that is only an end, not the means. all that will happen is you will be someone you arent and be unhappy.

I’ve been ghosted abruptly by multiple women I’ve been fucking and dating for a few months. In all likelihood, they couldn’t handle the shift in the power imbalance. i'm guessing there's something you're doing that is very upsetting and perhaps terrifying to them that they wont even break it off in person.

However, the dating landscape feels heavily biased in favor of women—almost overwhelmingly so. It seems that women not only find it easier to hook up or meet new people, but also don't have to put as much effort into getting what they want. From my own experience, I've seen very few women struggle in the dating market—usually only those who are very shy. On the other hand, half of my group of friends, who are in their early to mid-20s, are dissatisfied with their dating experiences. A vast major…

Most women dont need you to impress with them a fancy date. Paying for drinks/appetizers at happy hour is going to be $40 max. The girls who do arent even girls you want to date clearly so who cares.
