How is this a debate? For legal advice consult a lawyer. End of story.

This is not exactly rocket science. You want a monogamous partner. Find one. End of story. Stop with the lamentation!

I (man) have been watching porn for close to 20 years. I have been always very open about it (except to my family - we never talk about sex). During these 20 years I have never been shamed once. Not by friends, peers, stramgers, no-one. Even though I am visibly wearing a PornHub logo on by backpack and I do promote porn verbally and I am looking to start my own audio-based channel for women.

How would I know? I am a man and I enjoy being a man every single day.

Yes, but having a crush is something that fades away in 1-2 days if nothing comes of it. Falling in love is when you experience the personality, the together-time, the shared experiences and the sex - and if it's good or promising, I can allow myself to fall in love.

I agree with this.

I have described to you some of my real-life experiences from the past 10 years but especially focused on the last 3 years. It is up to you if you believe it or not.

Please kindly note that I did not say or imply that this behaviour is wrong. In my post I just describe that this a thing that exists and I tried to be not judgemental. The only "wrong" in this situation is that I am indeed looking for a committed relationship and get rejected because of the above. I’ll work a full time job, while you also work, do all the childcare and domestic work eg 3 jobs I hear the same from some women I talk to. Basically the choice for them is either working 1 job and be…

Well you can replace drugs with any other splurge that costs a lot of time and focuses you out of the relationship. Splurging on jewelry, clothes, trips, hobbies, etc. I also used to enjoy this "fun of freedom" until I was maybe 21 and realized that all of this means nothing without someone I can share it with.

I agree with this statement. In my social circle the average of men is very high. The men I see are very muscular, masculine, look great, dress well, smell awesome, excellent haircuts, groomed beards, straight teeth, intelligent and kind. Even the very few fat and short ones have impeccable style so they still basically look like fashion models. The problem is that they are highly available (ratio as mentioned in the post) and thus become just "average".

In my city youth alcoholism always was a severe problem and it is a problem now.

Women there are all alcoholic teenagers Unfortunately this is true for a lot of women that I encounter. Youth alcoholism is rampant in my city.

This is true. However the problem is that enjoying dancing and making music has been the #1 thing in my life since I was 4 years old. I was a professional dancer and musician, and I am heavily invested the into fashion and makeup hobbies. I am looking for a partner who has similar interests, so parties is where I can usually meet them. For the past 3 or so years I have received this comment several times. I tried going to different places to meet new people but it is very difficult for me to go …

Please note that I have been very careful not to make any generalizations in my post. I have only written down what I have heard personally from the people I encounter in real life.

This was regardless of physical traits. I have personally encountered and spoken to hundreds of men in my life who I would objectively describe as physically undesirable (fat, terrible style, smelly breath, crooked teeth, rude personality) and they have been married or in long-term relationships.

I think bringing physical traits into this is wrong at this point. I wrote my post regardless of that.

I tend to disagree. If I start dating a woman who I find attractive, and feel literally zero emotions for her except for "hey she looks nice, I like her hair / face / tits / smile / whatever " I can say, hey, I really like her, let's open up, let's see where this goes. And for me, that can be described as "purposefully falling in love".

I agree with this. I see that a cost benefit analysis happens even without looking at any man at all!

I have very consciously limited my post to real life experiences that either I have personally lived through or were told to me first-hand.

I'm not sure what you mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 08:22 AM

Well, love usually comes after dating for a while. However, I do not encounter women who want to date with a serious relationship as a goal because of the above. Maybe I am only meeting those very few people who indeed want to fuck about.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
