I'd say the German 18 year old, but I'm probably biased because I'm in Germany. I see German 18 year old just being normal people. Any American things I see are typically weird, funny or exciting because otherwise nobody would put it on the internet, so I only see the weirdest slice of Americans.

Here in Germany, when you first get your license, you're judged by much tougher rules for the first two years. Absolutely 0.0% BAC for example. So every new driver knows that they must be completely sober until they make it through the first two years. So in a sense, our drunk driving age is 20. I find that to be a much more sensible way of ensuring young drivers don't drive drunk.

I did specifically say standard bottles, meaning any kind of bottle you'd actually use to pour into a glass from. 2 liter bottles are pretty rare and usually go flat quickly because it's just too much coke to drink quickly. 1 and 1.25 are very common, 1.5 I've seen before, but not often. The 0.25, 0.33 and 0.5 bottles don't qualify for the argument since you'd fill a glass of water and it's empty or nearly empty, depending on the glass and bottle.

We have plastic crates for all sorts of beverages, they're popular and reusable.
