I too am more familiar with it, having used it myself. I do have experience with AncestryDNA data (graduated in genetics). Both would work for you, but I like the trait/health features of 23andMe. Regardless, you can download your raw data and run it through an extra program to get more information on your health features. You would be able to find out your genetic ancestry and potentially some close cousins.
