Sums it up quiet well. Alltough I'd argue that both sides have (selfish) expectations from women as well. Not as extreme, but I've seen it happen often enough. I know where you are coming from and I would almost agree with the "definition" part, but a movement with only one gender in it's name will always be used as a vehicle to primarily advocate for that one gender and not the rest. Indeed. The survey is disgusting and unethical. They should be ashamed trying to create further divide between the genders. Standing up for mens rights does not mean womens rights don't matter. The same in reverse. What we can talk about is distribution, how much resources go where. Thank you for sharing. Haven't spotted it before. Considering a lot of data is scewed because the law of many countries says f->m rape isn't rape, affected stats are obviously useless. Sadly they are still widely spread and used. You can spot them frequently withouth being questioned at all. It's is obvious it should be questioned. But cognitive bias is a strong thing.

There is a lot more research about such numbers with similiar outcomes - some papers avoid the mistakes of the past of doing falsifications like counting male rape victims as women or heck, not even count rape of men as rape. Only a short while ago did like switzerland even officially and legally recogniz that men can be raped at all. Doesn't help that ignorant misandrists continue to ignore proper data. Without a doubt - yes. While there is no arguing about bodily autonomy, BOTH genders need to have reproductive rights. As it stands today, men have none. Fucking hell.. even raped boys continue to suffer because of our systematically misandristic society. Do you have a source including the reason they stopped the gender budgeting attempt? A quick search only revealed some outdated work in progress documents. Another "fun" fact about switzerlands law: Only last year was rape of men and boys finally recognized as rape. It took until 2024.. it's crazy.
