Absolutely not. Would you want to leave your own child without a father? Whether the man wished for an abortion or not is irrelevant once the baby is born. Take responsibility. If the parents are split, at least provide monetary payment to help that child grow.

As if MRA's don't get "easily offended" when a counter-argument is placed against them? Give me a break.

Complains about the word "Femenism" implying rights for only women, supports the words "Men's Rights Activists"... Do you not see the hypocrisy in your statement? You're literally supporting a double standard

I wasn't aware clipping infant's ears could reduce the chance of UTI's, STD's, prostate cancer, among other benefits.

Wow, congratulations on condeming hundreds of millions of parents in the west alone as "Monsters" and "pathetic exuses for human beings" off a single deluded, completely bullshit pretext. If circumcision (or "MGM" as you insist on calling it) is one of the "biggest problems" men in the west face, then men must be in an absolutely tremendous position. If as men our biggest problems includes missing a tiny piece of skin then I wouldn't have much to complain about, LOL.

This subreddit is beyond pathetic. Calling people "monsters" for circumcising their kids and getting upvoted for saying it. This is why no one takes you seriously. I'm going to get downvoted obviously but it's the truth. It's just a foreskin, the baby isn't losing a limb or anything important. Focus on the real issues.

That's right. It accounts for facts, not emotional-driven sentiments.

"This isn't the Middle Ages" is an example of an Appeal to Novelty fallacy. You are stating that in an attempt to make circumcision seem "barbaric" and "wrong", while the middle ages have nothing to do with the facts. Those against circumcision appear to always use words such as "mutilation", or "barbaric" to try and make those in favor of it seem like evil, awful people. Examples of support of circumcision include The American Pediatric Society, the Center for Disease Control, the World Health …

Looks like the doctor's negligence and failure to follow standard protocol was the cause of the child's death. If he would have done his job properly, that wouldn't have happened. Don't blame the practice for a person's mistake.

So is harassing people who circumcise their kids, calling them "barbaric mutilators", or whatever hate word people feel like using.

Foreskins are useless. You're fine with or without one. To complain that you lost yours as a baby is absurd. There is no sense in making a big deal out of such a non-issue.

People whining about nothing. People just want something to complain about. "Oh, I lost my foreskin! It's the end of the world!"...You aren't missing out on anything.

Nope, it's all men. I remember reading that they have never came across a female in the recording of the show. They only found men.

If you're going to make the absurd claim that I "support genocide", then you support children growing up in broken homes and having a miserable life. Oh, and screw you for spouting your delusional "YOU SUPPORT GENOCIDE" bullshit. Get your head out of your ass. Apparently your ego is so large you have to repeatedly call me a "fool" and "pathetic" to make yourself superior. Alright Mr. Righteous. You win. But wait, you're "not going to respond" to this so I'm just wasting my time. Im especially wa…

There's a difference between a fetus and a child growing up. Once the child is born, it's your responsibility to take care of them. Be a father and at least pay child support instead of bailing on your children
/r/MensRights21/11/13 04:19 PM

What's with all these shitty dads not wanting to pay child support? If it's your child, take responsibility and support them. Do you really not care about your children that much that you won't even pay a dime to help them grow up?
/r/MensRights21/11/13 03:25 PM

It's your child - man up and take responsibility. What a great story that will be for the mother to tell the kid "You're daddy wanted to abort you and he doesn't care about you and doesn't want to take care of you!" This system you propose could be easily abused. I could see lots of lawsuits from men claiming they "wanted an aborition" when they really didn't and vice versa

Male Circumcision isn't harmful and you know it. If done by a doctor it is safe. Of course a botch is going to happen at some point, but that's the doctor's fault, not the practice itself's fault. Laser eye surgeries get botched, doesn't mean you should ban it

How circumcision was introduced in America has nothing to do with whether it's morally right or not or if it's safe or not.

First of all, I'm not "trolling". Way to jump to conclusions. Who are you to say millions and millions of people are "morally in the wrong" for performing a safe practice for thousands of years? Why are you objecting to your circumcision? You've never known what it's like to have a foreskin, and it doesn't matter because the foreskin is useless. You think you missing out on something, when you aren't at all

I do. But parents have authority over their baby. If they want to circumcise their baby, they can. The baby will be unharmed and perfectly fine. You're making a huge deal out of such a non issue

Hmm.. SUPER POWERSS or keeping a foreskin that is useless and i will never remember ever having it if it was removed at birth... hard choice! Non consenting babies? I guess we should ask the baby what clothes he wants to wear as well then? What kind of hairstyle he wants? When he wants his picture taken? circumcision will "reduce the baby's quality of life for the rest of his life"? Pretty much any doctor will tell you this isn't true. And on a side note, circumcision has been practiced by many …

It's never going to happen because it would be an incredibly stupid and pointless idea. Note how you ignore the positive effects of circumcision. Keep dreaming

How is one single event "absolute proof" that mothers as a whole don't make better parents? I'm not saying mothers are any better parents than fathers by any means, but this makes no sense.

What cruel, evil monsters those parents must be for horribly disfiguring a defenseless child! His life is ruined! Oh the horrors!!!!!!!

It isn't infringing upon their rights. I have never heard a single person ever once say that they wish their parents hadn't circumcised them, except for a few on Reddit. They aren't missing out on anything. At all.

It's a useless body part that if removed causes no harm. I see no reason for it to be banned. Doing so would rob millions of parents of their human and religious rights.

You are a truly deluded individual if you would do something to someone for such an idiotic reason. I was circumcised at birth, but let's say I wasn't. If they tried to circumcise me now, I would refuse because I am now old enough to make that decision since my parents didn't do it for me when I was an infant. It's just like how my parents chose what clothes I wore when I was a baby. Of course now I probably would have chosen something different, but I didn't have a right and couldn't have a rig…

"It should be banned", yep, tell that to the millions and millions of parents who circumcise their children every year safely. If a child dies due to circumcision it's likely due to the doctor's negligence.
/r/MensRights09/08/13 06:15 AM

It is perfectly safe. A parent has every right to circumcise their child, just like they have the right to chose what clothes they wear, etc.
