What about handguns, batons or pocketknives? We are not allowed to carry the former two in Germany, while the latter needs to be either a fixed blade below 12cm in length or a folding knife that cannot be opened one handed. The Emerson wave is a bit of a gray area here, so I do own a pocketknife with that. If they ever ban that, I would carry a straight razor. Under our laws, they do not count as knives for some reason.

Indeed. Rice is usually served in a small bowl that you can comfortably cup in the palm of an average sized hand, and about one bowl per lunch/dinner is the norm in China. I often eat with my employees, and it's very rare that someone eats more than 2 cups. If you're cooking Chinese food at home, try substituting white rice with brown rice or quinoa. It's healthier and won't put on as much weight.

I live in Germany. Civilians are disallowed from owning guns (other than collectors or hunters, and both require certification) and carry licenses are only given to security contractors and politicians.
