Don't you think the judge heard the case a can evaluate better what the appropriate sentence should be? We don't even know at what point (age) of the "relationship" they actually first had sex. You're just going for 10 year old because the guy in the video can't tell adding 3 years from subtracting them, but he was already 13 when it started. They both can't consent legally, but there are still elements of the things you deem problematic! I'm just saying that light needs to be shed on the circumstances, and that I think it's good that the judge did this.
