It's not manipulative, it's normal nonverbal communication. There isn't some magical point you pass where all communication in your relationship becomes verbal. If using verbal communication to solve problems conveys weakness, and weakness is unattractive, virtually all women will react the same way to it in the long run. Whether it's annoying, retarded, or whatever to use nonverbal communication as a tool - it doesn't matter. You do what works.

Delete her number, block her facebook, and avoid seeing her in person (if possible). That helped me a lot.

Thanks! But I don't deserve it. But yeah, most of the time I have put myself out there in pursuit of a girl (and I know "pursuit" isn't a good mindset), I've done something "stupid" and learned a lot from it. The best way to grow as a person is go out there and try stuff.

Been there. Once you just let it go, you'll look back and see how silly it was to care so much about this girl.

I think you meant "we're weird, women." :P

You aren't over it. But you should be.

Sounds similar to an experience I had. Apparently good looks don't hold the same weight to women as they do to men.

This answers the "what" but not the "why." "Value" is basically meaningless.

Because that's how life works, most of the time. It's hard to learn anything meaningful and lasting without experience gained through failures.

Yeah, I think I tend to overqualify too. Thanks for the tips. And I would be interested in you explaining the outer game terms as well.

I think the word you're looking for is "intelligent." Bro.

That seems a bit excessive, haha.

You know, the "fucks" just make your message sound forced.

I'm not like especially afraid of groups, but I tend to just be generally friendly and try to treat everyone in the group fairly "equally" if that makes sense. I always thought it was bad to "give away your hand," so to speak, and focus most of your attention on one girl. I think I've read before that it's best actually to focus more attention on the other girls and semi-playfully shun the one you like the most. But yeah, I struggle with getting beyond the "friendly" group stage. I feel like I h…

Not necessarily, I can occasionally manage to be smooth. Thanks though.

Can you explain some of these terms for me? I don't know what "slow it down," "get into the process," "open strong," "flesh out the interaction," "screen for logistics," or "burn into the ground late" mean. I like this idea a lot though.

Talkativeness equals desperation? Not disagreeing, just wondering if you could expand on that.

Are you sure that indirect openers aren't appearing to be more "successful" just because they convey no interest in the girl, and so they have no advance of yours that they have to reject? And if so, can you really consider it "successful" if they don't even think you're hitting on them? Maybe it doesn't matter if this makes it easier to transition into actually hitting on them. Also, are you quick on your feet with these or are you relying mostly on bullshit? If you're just looking to hook up w…

I've also seen this before. Is this your post? Also, how does approaching a group with the strategy of being forward work? Are you saying that you single out one girl and ignore her friends or make it apparent that you don't find her friends as attractive?

Don't assume that you are at fault because a woman doesn't engage with you in an interesting way. You meet boring guys all the time, and don't blame yourself for their lack of interesting and enthusiastic engagement. Why do you assume there is a dynamic, interesting, engaging woman waiting to be brought out of every single pretty girl? This is really well put. Along with other bits of your post. Keep up the good work.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
