7	Redditor is fired for taking day off—without giving notice—to go to the Women's Day march. I think that comes from how lots of younger people were raised. The prevailing thought that just spanking your kids is child abuse (regardless of the efficacy) has caused lots of parents to just give their children "a talking-to" or other non-punishment such as "go to your room [with your laptop, tablet, tv, smart phone, etc]".
