Uh huh. But you’re posting lyrics of songs your stbx is listening to.

Only you know the dynamic that’s going on between you and her. If you feel like she would take it as it is just you being respectful that it’s her birthday then sure. If you feel like it would start an argument then don’t bother.

Child support isn’t necessarily based on custody. It’s more based on which spouse was the higher earner at the time of divorce

If by justice you mean giving her half your shit, then yeah, justice will be served.

I can look at my hand and still envision what the ring looked like on there, but there is no intention, over two years since I last wore it. There are still times that I will reach down to feel for it, as I used to just absentmindedly play with the ring. And that’s an odd feeling when it happens.

It is unfortunate, but there are a lot of us that are a little bit naïve, especially when we want to believe what they are telling us is the truth.

I wouldn’t supply a damn thing unless compelled to by the court. Anything you provide could possibly be used against you.

Lawyer. You need a divorce lawyer. If you are being harassed they can file an emergency order of protection in. Then you can figure everything else out. And if they still don’t leave you alone they can be arrested.

It is not your fault, nor can you blame yourself, for what your STBX decides to do or how she decides to act. That is all on her. All that you can do is be the best example that you can for your child when they are with you. Otherwise, try your damnest to ignore her attempts at argument. I know that its hard. I know that you want to snap back. But with a person like that, acting like it doesn't bother you (even if it does) and not taking the bait will piss them off even more than if you did resp…

As a part of your divorce decree/settlement/whatever you call it, there should be a set amount of child support. You didn't give us enough details to know if you have actually finalized the divorce process and have this all in place. If you don't have something on paper, filed in court, you need to get this, like yesterday. If it is finalized in court, ignore the request entirely.

“This just in, the ceo of xyz company has a curved dingle! More at 11”

Not saying that it’s right, or to downplay the situation, but if it’s just a picture of you standing there with your dingle dangling, there could be much worse things that could get out.

So… I get that something like that should be kept private. But was there something specific about that picture, other than you just being naked, that you didn’t want seen? Yeah it’s unethical that she’s shown it around but I’m not sure that it’s illegal considering it was a consensual picture.

I have been divorced. I have also watched a relationship that started out pretty decently evolve into an absolute shit show. Well just signing a piece of paper and putting on rings doesn’t cause people to change, the mindset behind marriage can and often does once people are married. They think that is it there’s no more chasing there’s no more dating and so there’s no more excitement. well yes you can continue to do all those things after being married. A lot of couples don’t.

I have gone through divorce. It sucks. It's not fun at all. That being said, not all marriages are going to end in divorce. That also being said, it is not necessary to get married. I had this talk with my girlfriend. I told her that I'm not sure that I ever want to get married again. It's not that I don't want to be in a long term, monogamous relationship. But I've read way too many stories in this sub and others about how as soon as that ring is on that finger, things change for the worse.

This being posted in a Divorce subreddit... I'm wondering if you've previously been divorced. That will frame my response to you.

As someone who did have that "one last time," I can say... don't do it. Mine happened about 6 months into the seperation, and it gave me false hope that I didn't need. It probably pushed my moving on process down the road further than it needed to be.
