Gender and biological sex are two distinct concepts. Your pointing out of the Y chromosomes of a trans woman is irrelevant. Did you need to test what chromosomes you had before you understood socially what gender you are? Also, what about people with XXY? Even strictly biologically, things aren't as simple as you make it seem.

Yeah, ametalshard is making a mistake in interpreting my original comment. I'm not lamenting the progressiveness vs. conservatism on this sub. However, this anti-trans circle jerk that seems to have become a mainstream conservative opinion is just so tiresome in its disregard for facts. Just look at the top comment of this thread. "Trans woman" aka a man suffering from gender dysphoria. A sarcastic one liner bashing a trans woman who was raped. And we wonder why nobody takes this sub seriously.

"Trans woman" aka a man suffering from gender dysphoria. ... and for whom the best available treatment is social and physical transition. Trans people exist. And are often in favor of men's rights given they have lived and experienced society as both genders. You're just shitting on people who make good allies, lol.

Okay, perhaps I was harsh, but whatever they call themselves, I'll respect it. Hey fair enough. I, for one, am not asking for more than that. I hope I didn't come off harshly as well. I support most of the content on this sub, so it makes me sad when I see the transphobic "hurr durr, it's just biology" circle-jerk find its way here (I didn't take your comment that way, but others in this thread). I cannot, however, see them the way they see themselves. Yeah, that's kind of the point. You can't r…

It's a misconstrued view to say that biology nullifies the identity of trans people. Did you need to test what chromosomes you had before you understood whether you were a man or woman? You seem pretty affeminate yourself, so if you're a girl I'll understand your weak attitude. Ahh, you're just a troll then. Time to stop feeding it.

My bad, I had forgotten that seeing the world in black and white and refusing understand another person's perspective is the more mature attitude.

I agree that men should not be shamed into being interested in transgender women, people don't choose what they find attractive. But you don't need to deny a transwoman's identity as a woman to have that stance, as you've done here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
