Tell her she can sleep on the couch, but you might bring a bridesmaid back to the room…

Stop trying, date someone else, don’t ignore her, just don’t treat her special the few times you see her. She’ll be back around if you are fun and awesome with others, but by then you’ll have moved on

THROUGH is a key word here. Not around under or over, THROUGH the obstacles.

Friend of a friends kid here in the US decided he wanted to be a welder out of HS. Got trained, took it seriously, making $200k at 28.

The kid in paragraph 1, his cute GF is going to be banging a 30yo with $ or game within a year. How many time have we seen that all happen?

“Society” is determined by mostly bitter women, pushing their spineless men around at the very Top. But go and meet a normal married/dad and tell him about your single life adventures. I guarantee he says that sounds awesome!!

Their lives and careers are based on creating stories that have very little basis in reality. Every movie show ignores basic principles (eg he swam over a mile and now has an M16 we never saw, are w supposed to believe that was in his pocket? Guy looked like shit in last scene with no real opportunity to clean up per the story, but looks great now . Why wouldn’t they think that major world problems aren’t easily solvable if they could just get all political conservatives out of the way.

That is the same reason that Hollywood is full of left wing loonies who believe there are easy political solutions that will have all people prosperous and loving each other in a week. Practical rules/problems are easily solvable in movies (wait, where was he carrying all of those weapons when he was swimming across the channel?), not so in real life. Real life is a bit more problematic for artsy dreamers.

Didn’t you just vote D in the election?

Sounds like you are still a little fucked. All the Libs I know want to help everyone who needs it with a program (Ie. other people’s $). The conservatives I know are generous with their own resources and time. It a good thing you are in a blue state, because you r blue.

Have you ever thought that YOUR 2yo daughter was being watched by assumably NO ONE while they were boning? Glad she didn’t just wander out the front door..,

You are essentially treating work like a plate (it’s under your terms, or next) and workplace is responding accordingly. Having the confidence to say “eh if there isn’t a fit here I’ll find something better somewhere else “ isn’t something most employers are used to seeing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
