How does dating change as people get older? Not sure if this is directly relevant, but I filmed weddings for years. One of the trends I did notice was that weddings between 40-60 year olds always seemed way more chill, relaxed and genuine than many of the younger couples. You got a sense that they had 'been there, done that' and where just appreciative to enjoy their life with someone again with minimal pomp and circumstance. It always warmed my heart a little to do those weddings. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/03/20 03:23 PM
On the topic of younger women, older men, and revenge fantasiesWe didn't give a fuck what they were doing, and they certainly didn't care whether we were "butthurt" or not, so if stuff was going on, I'm sure I would've heard about it. Small town, everything got around. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/08/19 08:01 PM
On the topic of younger women, older men, and revenge fantasiesI don't think it is strange to want to spend time with someone high energy, less depressed, and less demanding- traits associated with youth. Another bizarre aspect with your line of criticism is that you don't acknowledge that young women CHOOSE older men to date. Do they? I would contest this. I know it's regurgitated on certain subs here like it's fact, but I've never seen it. When I was in my 20s, the women we hung out with weren't chasing or talking favorably about older men. I don't know o… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/08/19 06:23 PM
On the topic of younger women, older men, and revenge fantasiesI'm only giving my own observations and experience, based on the personalities of the guys my age I've seen do this. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/08/19 06:19 PM
On the topic of younger women, older men, and revenge fantasiesI suppose it depends on your definition of fun, but I would absolutely disagree with that. Older people tend to be much more comfortable with themselves. There's a ton of performative behavior going on with younger people. Conversations are much more real nowadays. While I understand where it comes from (I was once that age), I would hate to be around it now. Older people sometimes fall into the trap of excessive cynicism and joylessness, but those people can be avoided easily enough. Even outsi… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/08/19 06:18 PM
On the topic of younger women, older men, and revenge fantasiesI'm at the age where I'm starting to see certain friends and male peers go down that path. I don't think it's particularity odd or unexpected for an older man to find a hot 25 year old attractive. What is strange to me (and others, I'd wager) is why someone 35 and up would want to spend time with someone younger. You're at entirely different stages in your life. 35 year old me has little in common with 25 year old me. Being interested in what 20 year olds have to say at 40 years old is bizarre t… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/08/19 03:12 PM
