I’m curious if the reception of Adolescence would be different if the boy they depicted, had performed an act suicide instead, considering that’s what often happens to adolescent boys whom are ostracized. Having someone stabbed and murdered sends the message that boys are predisposed to committing violence towards others. When really what happens is self-hatred turned inwards.

I get really disappointed, when people look at someone playing video games while not tending to their responsibilities is seen as a moral failing and write them off, rather than trying to analyze what external factors came to encourage said behavior. Video games unfortunately have gone from trying to tell an artistic narrative to teach important lessons (God of War: Ragnarok) to trying to get young boys & men into a Dopamine trap cycle (Fortnite, lootboxes, auto-generated replayability). Don’t e…

I recently started noticing the pattern of projection when it comes to analyzing what feminists think men’s privileges in society. A feminist says men need to police other men because that’s what manipulative women do to one another if someone falls out of line a.k.a. “Pick Me’s”

Back then there were a lot more male teacher role-models back then (Principal Skinner, Mr. Kotter,Bill Nye, etc) than there are today. It’s not that men see teaching as a “female-coded”, there’s many layers to a lot of it. Some men’s entire goal in life is to start a family and provide for them. Teaching is NOT a lucrative career that can provide a stable income in order to make ends meet, especially when cuts to our Department of Education makes it harder and less appealing. Now say you aren’t …

Often I hear people say that men need to open up and be more vulnerable to our society, however I’ve always said that our society NOT set up in a way that it can practice what it preaches for men effectively. Men & Women can tell teenage boys about how to not have your decision be influenced by a woman’s appearance. However with the prevalence of OnlyFans and the likes are accessible and paying for sexual content is trivial. Society can tell men to take care of their mental health if they’re sui…

I would suggest to young boys to read Sun Tzu’s Art of War. The philosophy it teaches is insanely impactful for teaching young boys how to RECOGNIZE the qualities of a great leader. Being able to assess the resources you and your friends have before you commit to a project. Like I feel like boys idolize the idea of a clever tactician. If anything I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone SHAME the idea of an intellectual tactician. I don’t condone promoting hostility, however we need to understand tha…

Feminists: “Can you stop using the term “female” when it comes to describing an individual? It gives off the context of being an object rather than a human being.” Men: “Ok, sure sounds reasonable, all it is a small habitual change in vocabulary. However can you please not use the term Toxic Masculinity, because our boys and mens self esteem starts to drain after a while being depicted as something inherently wrong?” Feminists: “NO, YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE ACTUAL CONTEXT OF HOW THE PATRIARCHY IS…

I was recently listening to the audio book by Tommy J Curry “The Man-Not”, and one of the main messages that black men when growing up throughout the Jim Crow south, their sexuality as a black man was the core part used to discriminate, whether it be black men were seen as horn-dogs that can’t control themselves OR they were seen as the targets of white-women fetishizing them and trying to walk the tight rope of simply trying to “exist” Now imagine being a black man during Jim Crow south times a…

Oh wow you sound just like me down to the dot. Looking back on a lot of my interactions with women, I’m always praised for being quiet, polite, agreeable, etc because earning said praise is a source of self-esteem for me. Sometimes I feel like some of us were only liked for the things we “weren’t” and being docile rather than who we are as an actual individuals?

At this point, the Patriarchy could be an unknown SCP entity that has a massive allure over men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
