I’m not a soldier, I’m an airman. The fact that you don’t think we have downtime further confirms you don’t know what you’re talking about. Even my friends in the marine infantry have a fuckton of downtime to play around. If you genuinely don’t believe me, I will gladly send you my military ID with identifying information blurred out

Lol it’s easy for me to look at this and tell you have no idea what you’re talking about. Since we’re such a weak military, I’d love to hear the feats of our near peers that make them so formidable and superior to us

Why couldn’t we win in the desert? We could, look at Iraq. We took over Afghanistan perfectly fine, but it cost too damn much to hold on to a worthless shithole where you couldn’t distinguish a friendly civilian to a guy more than ready to blow himself up to take some poor bastards legs off. Korea was so long ago, and we kicked their sorry asses right back up to the north and stopped so we didn’t get into a full scale war with China.

There’s no army on the planet that has the ability to consistently win against guerilla warfare. It’s just not practical.

We won Korea, and none of the rest are conventional wars lol.

I’m in our high budget military, and while it could cost less, I can tell you without a doubt it’s very strong and more than capable of winning any conventional war.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
