What a manipulative sick piece of garbage. The ultimate slap in the face. Good for her for leaving!

Unfortunately, I see this often. Women who are struggling with a cheater suddenly get amnesia when a ring is thrown in their face. All you do is build a man's ego when you decide to stay after he cheats. My friend's now-husband only proposed because she caught him cheating. I tried to talk her out of rushing into marriage with him but here we are 11+ years later into their marriage and he cheats constantly. He's consistently embarrassing her and everyone in our city knows this man is for everyon…

I started talking to a guy I matched with on Bumble. He bragged on his profile that he owned a transportation company. He never went into specifics, but definitely pushed the entrepreneur angle. I googled him and couldn't find anything either. When we were video chatting I tried to dig a bit and ask more questions. He was giving me basic ass answers, no details, no backstory. I could tell he was cracking because he asked me why I was asking so many detailed questions and I finally told him it's …

Stories like this are so unfortunate but also so empowering. You prioritized your needs and decided that was it for you. You confided in her about being suicidal and she didn't follow up? That's a definite deal breaker in my book so good for you! For me, I was so close to her children as well, so its heartbreaking not seeing them. A friendship takes two individuals being actively present and she wasn't that for me when I needed her most. It's sad but that's life. I hope you're in a better place!…

I had to end the relationship with my best friend because of this. I've been listening to her complain about her trash husband for over 10 years. Throughout the cheating, him leaving her and his kids, the embarrassment, I've been by her side. Then when I needed her after a horrible breakup, NOTHING. I didn't hear from her for over a month. She hit me up after that with no mention of it. That was a deal breaker for me.

You're right...very true. It's a lot of self-hate projected at black women. It's sad and unfortunate but men like this MUST be ignored and given no attention whatsoever. I've made the mistake of giving them attention and it only emboldens them. I feel nauseous even admitting that...ugh

As a black woman who has dated a lot of black men, I will tell you this... HVM do not do shit like this. I've definitely run into black men who've made these comments and it's always the lowest, bottom of the barrel dudes, always. Every. Single. One. Even my brothers, smh. They have no goals, no direction, sleeping on a woman's couch or in her bed, not contributing, no ambition, absentee fathers... I mean, they have the time to sit on Whisper bashing women to make themselves feel better. Who tak…

This is the best thing I've read all week. I love how you were able to put this all in perspective and not lose sight of what is truly important. Boss moves girl. I love it. Congrats Queen. I'm excited about 2021 as well!

This!!! I love this. This is exactly what I've been doing. I've been single now for 5 months. I'm doing 10x better but I may think about him here or there. It's natural, I guess. I immediately say to myself, "girl WHO?! anyways..." And I keep it moving. It has helped me tremendously 😌

I watched Ed and Rose's entire story. All I have to say is... Rose is a QUEEN!! I love how after this conversation, she just packed her shit and left. She didn't try to comfort him or further explain herself. Babygirl just dipped. Queen. Ed will be Ed at the end of the day so he's already losing on top of this.

Wow. This is what he found funny? Making her feel inadequate and insecure? Girl.....RUN! I hate to see what else this boy does to entertain the tiktok masses off her expense. I noticed she also seemed hesitant to keep pressing it. Made me a little sad.

All I do is laugh at messages like these. It's so pathetic and speaks VOLUMES about these "men."

Please try not to beat yourself up over this. His behavior has NOTHING to do with you. You made the best decision by blocking him... It seems like he gets off on hurting you. My ex was like this. I know it hurts and it's okay to be down but don't stay there too long. You'll get through this...

Life is wayyy to short to entertain this mess. Except for this woman lol she handled this amazingly. You can't teach a grown man and why bother? That's his momma's job.

FDS is the TRUTH. I'm glad you're finding more clarity on why that wouldn't have worked out. He sounds like my ex! He wasn't a gamer but had no drive, ambition, he was in crazy debt and refused to make serious plans in our relationship. He was content at his mama's house and refused to admit that. But he would always have "plans" for our future tho... I'm glad he's not wasting my time anymore.

I hate when men or even women push that "free meal" mess like... I'm sure I can handle getting food for myself without "scamming" for it. But yes, it's the absolute bare minimum with no effort. I've never had to even go back and forth with a man about this. Never. Not on a first date or even the 15th. A HVM will feel uncomfortable allowing you to pay for a meal. I tried to pay for my ex's meal on his BIRTHDAY and it bothered him all day lol

So, your sister says this man is probably thinking you used him for a FREE MEAL? Does your sister know you're not homeless on the street? What?! Why would you be pressed for a free meal? Lol You were absolutely right, in this situation, to feel like this. This is his time to "shine" in a sense. It's his time to show how invested he is, to court you and show what kind of man he is. Why he would even ask that is baffling to me. These are your standards. Please don't let anyone, including family, m…

Sometimes it is best. It's definitely uncomfortable at first because you're so use to being with someone. You get use to it and even start to love it lol I've worked on myself so much and that in turn has boosted my confidence so much. The next guy is going to be one lucky guy

He's jealous and pathetic. My ex friend's husband was like this. She went back to school, started different projects outside of their relationship, and got a great job. You could see the jealously drip off of him. He constantly put her down and acted like he couldn't care less about her accomplishments. She only started focusing on herself because he cheats all day everyday.

My ex and I broke up about 4 months ago and although it was hard the best decision I made was to focus on myself. About 2 weeks after the breakup an old ex and I met up and hooked up. I felt like crap afterwards... He was cold, distant and an asshole. It felt like I was dumped twice. Although it was supposed to be casual and fun, I wasn't emotionally ready for it. I invested into therapy and it was so incredible. My therapist encouraged me to find goals, hobbies and interests separate of my ex. …

Wow. One common theme I've noticed with the trash men I've dated is that they have mothers who coddle the hell out of them, make excuses, and even lie for them.

My ex of two and a half years was like this. In the beginning, he immediately love bombed me, he knew I was dating other men so he was Mr. Perfect in trying to lock me down. It bothered me a bit how pressed he was but I've never had a man be so amazing and kind. We got together and I quickly found out who he truly was. He was insecure, a people pleaser, a doormat, deeply in debt mama's boy who refused to leave her house. While trying to force him to make concrete plans to settle down (he said he…

I JUST stopped all communication with a LVM who would say all the right things to me but his Facebook posts read differently. He was constantly putting women down and disgustingly misogynistic. He was always putting down any woman who said anything empowering and was always encouraging pick me women. I had to end it because when I asked him about it, he said he was just "trolling." Like bruh, you're 32.
