It does sound like, for you anyways, you did not feel comfortable being in control and may also been avoiding rejection/misunderstanding of intent. Yeah, doesn't seem either party has a real agenda to change their spending policy beyond where it is being allocated (Somewhere that it can reach their pockets basically). I stopped participating in most voting except state/county/district. I was raised by fairly neutral but republican leaning anti government, and anti union parents (one parent Catholic as well). Even with that said I completely understand and back you on dealing with corruption. I just don't like to align with, or fight for, establishments generally. 1	When it comes to attracting women, why does it have to be this way for men? Literally nothing you have stated is even true in a large number of cases. Most people, not just men, value directness.. so if you were to approach a guy and make the 'first move' most of us would be grateful that you just saved us having to do the maneuver themselves. 2	CMV: There is a shortage of eligible, "good men" who are family and marriage oriented Just a lot of bitter people, throwing out insults to those who do not agree with them is all.
