It's almost a given that the guy 'should' be taller, so to be presented with a situation where you know the literal minimum expectations arent met, but not giving a fuck, is completely different than a girl being fat and managing to get laid. Unless its summer time and you're taking your shirt off, a slightly higher body fat is better than being diced since you'll look bigger.
