Interesting.. I just finished reading a book about having a craftsman’s mindset opposed the mainstream narrative of “do what you love” (which is all based on feelz) Cal Newport? I enjoy his writing a lot. His breadth of work, to me, is really focused on distilling life down to the things that really matter; a simplification to increase performance. Completely applicable to today's distraction-laced culture.

OYS 2 OYS 1 The last week has seen improvement. In fact, going back and rereading my OYS 1 made me cringe in a couple of ways, mainly because of my attitude with some of the things I said.
