Also your ages may lead to a big incompatibility. You want stability and something serious, him at his age may say he wants the same but deep down he’s just begun to enter the adventurous stage of his life. Reading what you’ve said about him it is clear he’s not a serious candidate. Stop wasting your time and move on.

Agreed, this screams despair and 99% of the time will only end poorly. There’s a reason why things are done in phases and with rapport and trust continuously built up.

This sounds like a terrible man, low value, and you’re clinging onto a sunken cost relationship. My blunt advice is to nip this in the bud and cut your losses, you deserve a much better man than this one.

Continue working on yourself and make plans to separate from this terrible decision of a wife you’ve made. Tough times ahead, but honestly you’ve done two things wrong here, you’re simping for a woman, and it’s a low value one at that. The worst combo of errors, time to suck it up, rectify, right the ship, and move on.

I’ll respond to each of your points. It’s a good contingency for you specifically to have but you’re not at a late age just yet, realistically you could find someone this year and be married and pregnant at 33/34 (as long as both sides are clear on their goals and desires). Agree with your point it could come off too “masculine” aka overly career-oriented/dominant but I think it can be downplayed if you learn how to word it correctly when asked the standard “did you go to school/what did you stu…

You’re just looking for something to cling on to right now OP. Your energy is better spent focusing on yourself and improving the environment you will bring this new life into to the best of your abilities, whatever they may be.

Both sides have work they need to focus on to improve themselves. He needs to learn how either alter his wording such that the message doesn’t come across as attacking or tearing down (or just not say anything at all). OP certainly has insecurity issues that really need to be worked on. Especially the entrapment type questions that seek validation for OP and backfired on her. Lastly, I will say, that “types” aren’t the end all be all. I don’t advocate or condone watching porn, however I think it…

Most likely the thought process is that the woman at 30 is much more mature and has more life experience than the man at 30 still, and thus it’s less likely for the man to be able to properly take the lead he should in a traditional relationship dynamic. That’s not to say it can’t happen, but rather that it’s more unlikely.

Repeatedly calling is one of the easiest ways to push someone away, especially a guy. He seeks space away from you to breathe and you’re attempting to suffocate him by calling repeatedly (I know that may not be your intention but that’s the way it makes him feel, I know because I’ve been in his spot before). Allow some time to pass and for things to cool down and rational minds to take over. If he’s interested in you he’ll reach out and if he isn’t, then you’ll know because he won’t. In either c…

It’s ok to have high expectations, so long as you realistically match in what you offer, otherwise, you need to recalibrate.

Hello OP, I just want to say congrats on seeing the light and taking an active turn towards making what you want a reality. The world would be a better place if there were more people capable of that. I wish you luck on your journey, and my only word of advice is to stay away from the male Red Pill subreddit, it’s very different from this and not where I would steer your partner to.

Your username is a poor reflection of you, that would be the first thing that needs to change, how will others see the good in you if you yourself put yourself down like that? The belief starts within. Congratulations on being aware of the problem, that’s the first step. Many people go through life unaware and you should be proud of yourself for that. You may see it as a big mountain to climb, and I won’t sugarcoat it, you’ve got a significant challenge ahead. But imagine yourself having reach…

I think he’s referring more to the color/vibe given off rather than the specific clothing items. You described your general style in your post, and while judging by your writing/post you seem to have elements of soft/ sweet/warm your wardrobe style described doesn’t depict that at all and works against you. I’m sure the women in here have much better resources to point you in the right direction so take their fashion advice over mine of course in terms of specifics. My rudimentary guidance towar…

Agreed, that’s just very poor decision making skills, especially in risk assessment. Now, if there’s a fire and a child is trapped in there, that’s a much more understandable and justified reason to take that risk.

Because it’s not “I don’t like what you picked” that’s negative feedback. It’s 1st acknowledgement and gratitude, 2nd informational and a pivot to a solution that achieves the intended goal and that both sides are happy with.

There are ways to go about exchanging the gift without mention of the ex, that part is absolutely not necessary.

I think it’s important remember to avoid falling into generalization and attributing those traits to the whole demographic in question. I fully believe the experiences you’ve mentioned, now I suggest a simple thought experiment. Imagine the reverse situation, there’s a guy your age, traditional masculine male, and he sees just how much feminist rhetoric there is out here on Reddit, the internet in general, etc. He even has a sister who is a full blown feminist in her beliefs. What would you, as …

A man that doesn’t follow through on his word, is not a great man. That being said, why is he saying he’s going to get you these gifts in the first place when this isn’t yet even a relationship? This is the point I’d be looking to question more. Is it the case that he’s insecure and trying to simply win you over with the thought of gifts? Does he then not follow through because he’s cheap on top of thinking he can buy things to win you over? I can’t quite put my finger on it but there’s somethin…

There are a few issues here, including him needing to work on himself from a mental aspect. As for you, I would recommend talking to a doc and getting your hormones checked, it may be a simple hormone imbalance. Hormones play an important role, the difference in mood, libido, and function can be night and day between an imbalance and proper working order.
/r/RedPillWomen05/02/24 01:45 PM

The issue here is that OP is so against “mass dating” that she has overcorrected. She is attributing a stronger connection to the guy in question when it’s not yet warranted since she hasn’t so much as met the guy in person, nor even “played a game or watched a show with him online” as she put it. I think this is the case of correct mindset but improper execution. OP needs to recalibrate her current position since she’s not dating the guy and has not yet even had the opportunity to build the typ…

Allow me to offer a male perspective. Yes, the visual is what catches the eye, however the content (and I like the 3,2,1 idea the other commentator suggested) is what draws us in more and what allows for a better opener and conversation. A girl could be very physically attractive and write minimal to nothing and it would indicate to me that she’s not really looking to put in any effort and just kind of wants to be given everything since assumedly she already gets a lot of attention. I know there…

Actions speak louder than words. If a guy is truly interested, the actions will be there. I’m not saying he’ll go to the end of the word and beg and plead, but rather the invite or the proposal of meeting up would be thrown out there and it would be up to you to accept or decline. The way you’ve told the story, this guy may like the idea of you, but either hasn’t matured enough as a man to take action (which is a fault of his own that won’t be changed unless and until he decides to change, nothi…

In the RedPill world, amongst other roles he plays, your husband is your protector, and you rely on him for that. If danger were to present itself while you were both walking down the street his mind and concern immediately turns to your safety, and then his. When you go to work, he obviously isn’t there to do that in person but that doesn’t mean your safety isn’t on his mind. He sees this role and situation as an unnecessary increase in risk to the safety and well-being of the person he loves. …

Have you considered the use of a therapist? Seems like you may not actually need help per se but rather a specific individual to share your feelings with and almost talk things out aloud with if that makes sense. There are websites like BetterHelp, Cerebral, and many others (able to be found with a quick google search) that are low cost and can provide a person for you to talk to. I offer this as an option because that way you are getting what you need (unloading/emotional sharing/talking throug…
