Attitudes (posts if you will) like this do nothing but give MRA's that want to strive for positive changes a bad reputation. You can say things and make points in a manner that is less passive aggressive/jerkish/asshole-ish. I'd rather have positive posts about progress being made for men's rights, things we can do and less of this sort of noise that only makes people angry.

Frankly it's the easy way out of getting a degree for the sake of getting a degree. No talent for the tough field of art, bad at researching and citing logical arguments for history, not fantastic at cranking out serious papers and analytical though for higher level English classes, not wanting to work on your math skills, pissed at your privileged life that you didn't realize was privileged ----- voila women's studies.

Yup, every group will have its radicals but it's when a group is ran/controlled by one that things get ugly. That's why I like it here, things seem to be ran well and usually when the far end of mra's post things that are "too out there" so to speak usually people chime in and just call them out on it and ask for sources. Overall this is a pretty good place to browse.

I'll be honest I have no idea what manspreading is. I do know circumcision is awful though. Lets just cut parts off babies for no reason. It makes me shudder that it's taken so long for people to start waking up to awfulness of that.

It is unfortunate on campuses how literally loud the hateful people are. There's thousands going about their day though not being obnoxious idiots if that's any condolence. One of the things I hate most at colleges are the "slut walks" that prove nothing and just make people look stupid and teach the wrong message.

Thanks, good to know. I woke up and was just super confused as to why I had a random ban. I guess it's a sign of a segment that is closer to being gone if they are cutting everyone else out for fear of losing out. I kinda went there in hopes it was maybe somewhat like this mensrights subreddit and people liked to be proactive and positive. Apparently I was super wrong.

After seeing his videos, I have to say I'm with you there. He doesn't do what I guess is called comedic timing or tone well for his humor to translate over from writing all that well. Still, it was cool to see something from when I was using the starting points of the internet when I was in highschool back in the middle-late 90s.

The legal advice was sound even if seemingly unfair from a more utopian perspective, those were his options plain and simple. The lawyer told him reality and he had to pick which reality he wanted. Life isn't a movie and unfortunately with the way things are currently there aren't many happy endings to troubles like this one. It sucks but these choices are made everyday. That's why things like this subreddit exist, to help push an underdog cause forward.

16-18 is not anywhere close to an 8 year old child, hell of a difference between a 10 year gap of children to teenagers than there is a 50 to 60 year old in terms of growth physically and mentally.

Easier to get legal things done if your married in positive ways. Health things, insurance things, wills etc are easier to deal with when a marriage is involved. At least in America, could be far different in other parts of the world.

majority of degrees have nothing to do with job training, more about competency and showing you can actually complete something to your average employer. If everyone was interested in purely having/finding work... technical schools would have waiting lists to get in and plumbers would be 10-20 bucks an hour not $70 to $90 an hour.

I'm in human sexuality this semester and this particular professors aim is about gender topics but I agree a course specific to that would be a fair thing in the mix instead of bleeding into a sexuality course. Sexuality and gender are two very different things and it's unfortunate that at least in America, they are associated together commonly.
