Yeah, and that sort of behaviour is based on something. A particular value system, if you will. They will side with an "alpha" male of the group on a dime, because of fear of being ostracized. Which shows that they value "social proof", "safety and stability in a group" etc. So, my question is, what else?

How would that translate into specific things/activities/values/etc?

I get that people are individuals and different things make them tick. But I'm asking on average. Let's say… Yes woman are social creatures. It's more rare to have a woman who is a "lone wolf" so from here I can extrapolate that belonging/being included in a social group is, on average, is higher on a value list for a woman than a man. What else though? What other values one can deduce like that?

I wasn't even thinking about shedding cash on Bitcoin or any coin for that matter, right now. First, I want to build some sort of base understanding about "investing" and "markets" (and whatever else related) and then after that maybe get into understanding the idea and workings behind the coins and then if like it I'll think about buying something. Anyways, there's a long way to that.

Thank you. Not gonna lie, this bit here: Pick a conservative investing procedure: drip funds, asset reallocation, cost averaging, three fund investing, land lording; and read the description online and go with it. I don't understand what it means lol. There's some work to be done here. Anyways, thank again.

Really good point, man. Even though I might've had a gut feel that it could be a case it never click to me. Youtube being a replacement for communicating with people is a thing for me, yes. Thanks

Have you thought about just not using it? Yes. I'v been leaving my smartphone at work and I packed my laptop in a box (but from today I'll leave my laptop at work too, couse I slipped on my days of and binged) I guess I should've expressed that better in my op. Just put the phone down and go do something else. I truly feel my tech is using me rather I'm using my tech. So that's why I just want to get rid of them (at least while I'm at home). You need to live a more fulfilling life. My issue is t…

Technically, yes. It's admirable that a place like that exist in the first place, but there's quite a difference to read a letter form a dad about responsibilities around the house and be shown by him what and how to do.

I started as my new years resolution. Limited my time on pc and smartphone quite a bit. Read 2 books in that time. I still more results here, though.

Well, first thing… I don't know if you though about it this way but, It's not about you. People with high self esteem do not shit test. They might tease you, but teasing is not shit testing. Shit test is a low level (or just straight up) insult; an attack. Example: You apporach a chick and say "Hi." and she responds with "You're fat." That's an attack, that's an insult. A tease on the other hand is never an attack. A tease is more of a "agree & amplify" thing. It flows from something that a pers…

This is what happens when men (or rather boys) have no positive father figures in real life. And unfortunately a forum cannot be that father figure.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
