In that case, get out. When the police have "gotten away" with "murder", it was always proven (with eyewitnesses) that there was a reason for the police to take the life. If you were wrongfully treated and you make enough noise(with factual evidence of course, not just anecdotal evidence, that is not evidence) the police will not be able to get away.
