Wtf. Absolutely not. In what possible way could her taking on a part time bar tending job positively affect your relationship? I don't know you, I don't know your wife. But I can all but guarantee she's bored out of her fucking mind if she wants to do this for reasons outside of your household finances. YOU NEED TO FIX THAT. I have a 2 year old as well so I get it. Lots of nights in, perpetual boredom... Etc. but you still need to find time to be interesting. Because she is going to if you don't…

Slug from atmosphere is about as blue pill as it gets. The first 10 years of his career was about nothing but "Lucy". Brother Ali, army of the pharoahs, Jedi mind tricks, blueprint, and my personal favorite El-P and his side project which has turned into his main Run The Jewels. RP shit all day with these examples.

Thanks for explaining the comfort test. I'm a recent transplant from TRP and was wondering what in the hell a comfort test was and how I should counter act it. It seems as though these are probably the easiest to recognize and see yourself through. "Am I fat?" Grabs Ass "Nope, not yet. I'll check again here in a little while ;)"

I deal with the same issue. Unless specifically instructed, my wife will handle nothing outside of cooking and cleaning. I work ALOT. I spend a week a month overseas. Things like getting the electricity bill paid on time tend to slip my mind until it's too late. My struggle lately is getting her engaged in the management of our household.

Gotta agree with /u/dandar4600 here. Sounds like the pendulum has swung too far to the aggressive side. As far as adapting TRP to a 5 year LTR. It's not hard. If you're doing it correctly it should actually make things easier. The way that we talk amongst ourselves here in the TRP network isn't the way we talk to women. We say the same things, but with more couth.

What's important is that he maintain frame while he does it. He can't come off as a jealous, insecure little bitch when he tells his girl that he's not going to continue to allow that to occur in his relationship. It's not controlling to have boundaries in your relationship. It's controlling if you tell her what to do. She needs to know in no uncertain terms that her continuing ANY type of relationship with an ex is a deal breaker. Be prepared to walk. This is not a bluff.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
