I wish more people were like you, kind even if I don't agree with them.

They always use chimpanzees because it suits them, forgetting that bonobos exist and are just as close to us.

this is 100% percent a joke XD

I'm writing this as an addendum to my other post, to express my opinion that if a total and irrefutable difference in the brains of men and women were to be proven, it wouldn't be a good thing; it would just be more fuel for the stupid war between the sexes on the internet, and groups would use it to support sexist measures.

I'd like to submit my research (I actually study psychology, it's not a new topic for me), but it's 3 AM in my country, and I really hate these gender essentialism discussions (and as an autistic person it's a more sensitive topic for me), so what do you say we leave it here and pretend we're both right? At this hour where I don't have time to look for links, the only example I can give is my own life😅. But I can say that, so far, it has not been possible to demonstrate that a single-sex educati…

Feminism focuses more on the gender aspect, although it is a divergent current from egalitarianism; in fact, left-wing politics generally diverge from egalitarianism.

Oh, okay, thanks, I hope it goes well for you too. Bendición

What a winning streak? Sorry, I don't understand some colloquial terms, I'm new to English 😅.

Thank you, it's the biggest compliment I've received today, and I understand the feeling, when I have bad periods for some reason I always end up in these places, I hope this absurd dispute ends soon, or probably global warming will kill us before who knows XD. I enjoyed talking to you.

Tell me about it, I have autism and ADHD XD. I don't recommend being on these sites, I had phases of hating men and hating women my entire adolescence in these places, even those that start well end up falling into gender essentialism and cheap indignation, only do things you like, talk to friends you are close to and be kind to those around you (I feel weird advising someone older than me 😅, but seriously, these discussions do more harm than good)

a bit of everything, the oppressor/oppressed mentality is a serious division, but the sexist feeling of protecting women above all things, and the lack of socialization of people in general (counting the manipulation of political groups on both sides) make everything much worse, since you are young (I don't know how much, I'm 20), I don't recommend you worry about it, just talk to women as if they were normal people, just as most men are not murderers, most women are not going to murder you or t…

It is a cultural aspect that needs to be corrected. Personally, I only see this problem in countries like Mexico and the United States, where I currently reside. I even see men and women playing soccer together every week, and my sister only has male friends (in that respect we are opposites, I only know women 😅).

Separating places by gender is a horrible mistake. I've spent my whole life talking to women, growing up with them, talking to them, and even most of my friends are women. They make up 50% of the population; it's impossible to live a life without interacting with them. Integration is the only logical way to progress and solve this stupid modern gender war.

Most of the research I know supports the opposite, and life experience too, so it's hard to believe. I also don't think gender essentialism helps solve our problems.

In my experience, those spaces tend to be excessively noisy, full of people who can become aggressive, or focused on interests that don't necessarily resonate with everyone (like bars or sports venues). It's an environment that doesn't resonate as much with today's society, or with me in particular, at least in my country, I don't know about yours.

Founts?, As far as I know, the name originated from the search for women's suffrage (that women could vote), the name in that context made sense, but then the movement expanded and now it is difficult to change the name, although some branches have considered it (since feminism, like any movement, is not a dogmatic belief, there are like a thousand branches)

Humans are not chimpanzees just as cats are not lions (and in fact, we are more closely related to bonobos), in my case it was different since as a child the first toys I had were a wooden boy that you could dress and a savannah that I called Babu, and I had cars but they were never very fun, I only moved them around until I got bored😅. (I have memories and videos)

I agree 😅, is like antiblackmen456 in a subreddit of black people

It was a decision based on the times, and now it's too late to change the name.

I disagree, but ok😅. No man I know particularly likes violence, and I know several who aren't interested in intense physical activity, and even the last time I hit someone, the only one who cried was me out of guilt 😅

In my opinion, many of them have been eroded by men themselves.

Even for men😅

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
