Well, making the first contact in person and establishing communication is approaching first and initiating. I want confident women who are enthusiastic about seeing me again. I don't wanna date someone who is meh about me. Sure, it might help me get laid, but that's not all i want at this point in life. Plus it takes a lot of pressure off of them. And many times, they will be like actually heres my number. it works great actually.

I do this sort of thing frequently. I think it's a good way to weed out anyone not interested. Someone who is genuinely interested will reach out.

People with low self confidence are going to have tendency to be "friendzoned" more. It takes more than being respectful to get a date. A lot of "nice guys" just don't take the initiative past being a friend because they think it will magically turn romantic.

I'm in an uncommon situation. I live somewhat rurally near a smallish town. I live out of town. "Hey I'd invite you to spend the night with me but I live twenty miles out of town. I know we are both a little drunk to drive. I'll walk you home if you want some company tonight" Has never failed 🤷‍♂️

The thing about cougars...you don't know they exist until they pounce. They will find you. 😅

Learning to dance was the single most useful thing I learned that helped me with women. It teaches you how to lead a physical interaction, improvise, connect. It forces you to learn how to approach all kinds of women. If you can dance well, it always impresses a lady.

This was not an attempt of an approach of any sort, just a funny incident. I was walking on a trail in the woods the other day and passed a lady. I told her "sorry, im not a bear" and just started to keep walking past. She thought i said i saw a bear. "Theres a bear!?" She didnt get the joke but i ended up chatting for a few minutes

It's super regional. It's gonna be a little different everywhere you go.

More like salsa, I live in rural United States, so country music is really popular. So I do a lot of two step dancing to country music. I don't do unstructured club dancing. I go to those kind of places very rarely. It's fun but not really my thing.

I know a little bit of salsa. I took ballroom dance classes for a bit, so I learned foxtrot, two step, tango, waltz, jitterbug, east coast swing, west coast swing, country swing, chacha and salsa. And the on my own I did a lot of blues dancing, learned a little lindy hop and Argentine tango. Nowadays I mostly just do my own version of a two step because it's easy to teach people that don't know how to dance.

Still a bar or establishment where music is playing... But people don't dance where I'm at so it catches them off guard.

It kinda is when you are in an environment when people aren't expecting it. Going up to a complete stranger and asking them for five minutes of their time... Now when you are at a dancing event that's a little different

That's fair, like that description. Although many times it can be a cold approach asking someone to dance when they wernt expecting it all.

I personally prefer cold approach, but my cold approach method is a bit different. I love meeting women dancing. I am a fairly good dancer myself and it involves many "qualifiers" immediately. If someone is out listening to music, that already includes a couple commonalities. Similar music tastes and enjoying "going out." I am very comfortable asking women for a dance. If they enthusiastically say yes, then that shows me they are a bit more willing to go with the flow and have fun. During the da…

Advice...don't use instagram. Give her your phone number, call to set a date. Don't just be another one of her thirsty insta followers.

Practice on cashiers/servers etc. You don't have to be over the top, but practice paying attention to little things that women put thought into. A cute set of earrings. a shirt that matches their eyes. Comment on it, let them respond and then thank you have a nice day! Notice their names on name tags and use it "Hope you have a lovely evening Samantha!" It not only makes them feel seen, it gives you a low risk way to practice breaking the ice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
