Maybe you should text back your best friend. It’s nice to have support during times like this. I know it’s easy to shut everyone out. And maybe sleep on it and think of what you’d want to say to her. I’m sorry that you are going through this. It’s so hard trying to get through to someone who is emotionally cut off. I deal with it everyday. I would say, if you want to make it work, you could try explaining the importance of staying together for the children. But to be honest, she sounds very toxic.
