Right along with my teachers telling me that the reason a boy was picking on me was because he liked me. Early training my brain to equate poor behavior from men as affection

Holy crap this is a thing??? Back in the 70s I was sat with Bobby in 4th grade who misbehaved to keep an eye on him. In the back of the class where the teacher segregated him. And me with hyperactive disorder as it was called in the 70s when I should have been up front! Ffs

I work in EMS and always tell the other females, listen, dating a firefighter is fun. But dont marry one. I dont know what it is with these paramilitary types. Aggressive, cheating, racists, a lot of them.

I'm really excited to see her slowly become more patient, thoughtful and not rush impulsively into things. Being on season 3 i can already see the changes in her character. I watch the mandalorian and seeing her was 100% the reason we started clone wars lolol

For me it wasn't a thing until I started hearing other kids his age using the "you do so and so like a girl!" We had a talk about being like a girl isn't an insult.

Fair point. I suppose in that particular instance we see that, we haven't gotten to what you're describing. But I'm not making him see anything I dont think, but I respect your input and will discuss that part with him!

Marion Ravenwood from raiders of the lost ark. Indiana had a relationship with her when she was a teenager and he was in his mid 20s then left. When he shows up again in her life, he's not there to apologize, not to ask for forgiveness, but because he needed something from her, she jumps right back into a relationship with him. He then leaves her at the alter pregnant. Raiders is literally my favorite movie of all time but Indiana was an asshole who ran from all his responsibilities. Edit: sorry…

I really felt that "stay up as long as I like". My ex insisted when he went to bed (730pm) I should go to bed too. What kind of needy bullshit is that?

I made a wonderful woman cave of my condo. I went back to school and improved my financial situation. Cleaned up my shit credit from being married to him. I learned how to paint, grow plants, amateur stargazing, lost 55 pounds and run 5ks. I know that who I am is a good trusting person who now trusts, but verifies.

When I was in college, a cute guy asked me out for drinks and to shoot pool. I'm very good at pool. I kicked his ass, and even tho we had a great time, never heard from him again. My mom said I was supposed to let him win. THATS the day i stopped listening to her for man advice.
